I think it depends how you define "BBW" doesn't it?  I certainly prefer my women soft and curvy with a bit of flesh on the bone, and with a nice soft tummy.  I just find it sexier.  I'm not attracted to slim women with concave or washboard stomachs.

But what is a BBW?  If you look at porn sites they can range from the slightly chubby through to the very obese.

I like looking at ladies as much as the next person and some I find attractive and some I definitely don't.  They do not have to be of a certain size although I must confess I do not find stick thin women to be sexy - that is not to say i don't find them attractive, but in a punting sense - not to my liking.

Some BBW ladies are just like a blob on legs but each to their own.  The sexiest WG I have ever come across just happened to be a BBW and that is Tanya of Huddersfield.  The sex appeal just oozed out of her.

It comes down to the individual woman at the end of the day.

I find Adele very sexy - not necessarily because she's "big", but because she has sex appeal.  But obviously shape and size does come into it a bit - e.g. I found Ruth Jones far more attractive and sexy before she lost all the weight than I do now.  And I definitely wouldn't have minded a night with Nessa from Gavin & Stacey, even though I may not have come out of it intact

I actually enjoy thinner frames myself. Just feels more intimate somehow when your bodies are tightly intertwined in e.g. mish. Sounds kinda strange writing it down but it is what it is. Anyway, to each their own fun.

As others have said, it depends on your definition of BBW - from what I've seen, a lot of those who advertise themselves as BBW are simply fat and I wouldn't touch them with the proverbial 40 foot barge pole.

Other than that, I have no great preference one way or the other although I would tend towards the smaller frame than the larger - size 6 to about 10 or 12 is ideal.

I also prefer "real" to "enhanced" breasts, particularly if the latter make the girl look like she'd has a couple of footballs surgically implanted.

I've had a thing for large women ever since sixth form, when a large girl had the hots for me. At first my cultural conditioning made any prospect of us getting it together seem ridiculous, but we became friends, I started hanging out at her house, one evening she plied me with drink and I never looked back!

I prefer WGs of a size 6-12 but have punted with WGs up to a size 16 at parties, i wouldnt go above a 14 at a 121. But i do qualify this by saying it depends on a WGs height as well. A taller WG could be a size 16 but i might find her attractive whereas i wouldnt find a shorter size 16 attractive.

Most of my friends within the business are BBW's and they seem to do very well, I certainly did when I was curvy.  In fact I'd go as far as to say the most beautiful woman I have ever seen is an absolutely stunning BBW.  Big market out there for them.

I have recently been confused in that I used to think it stood for big beautiful women but now come across it menaing big breasted women (or the other way round; I'm old).

I like the ones that appeal and am less taken with the ones that don't, as with every other variant.

I would not class Adele as a BBW. I would accept her word for it if she described herself as such but I lost think she's gorgeous and I don't know why I haven't seen her up close and personal yet.

IMHO and experience I'd say that BBWs are more at home with their bodies, are bubblier in personality and given that the majority are older, rather than 18 to 25, more mature, experienced and a much better punt.

Polly..  I'd say it's 50/50 with regards to age.  I know lots of lovely young bubbly BBW's and find it really refreshing that these young women are not at odds or embarrassed about themselves or their body image.  Adele has a lot to be thanked for IMHO and Beth Ditto before her.

Is there a market for BFUM? Big fat ugly men?

Maybe. WRT BBWs, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and transcends physical attributes?

Unless there has been some change I'm not aware of BBW still stands for Big Beautiful Woman.  I doubt any woman outside the sex industry is going to describe herself as such so can't imagine why Adele would?  So whether she's classified as a BBW or not is entirely up to you not her

Not quite so. The dating world has specific sites for BBW ladies who want to date and the guys who want to date them. Whilst Im sure some clever ladies are taking advantage of those sites work wise I think its probably safe to say that most of the women won't be escorts. Thats not the sex industry. There are BBW models too, thats not the sex industry. Women outside the sex industry do oftentimes class themselves as BBW. There are also websites where really large women called BBW's get paid by the minute by men who love to watch them eat. Im sure some of that strays into the sexual but in itself its not the sex industry. BBW is a common term now I think x

Ah - wrong Adele, thanks! I was thinking the reference was to Adele of MK who I have a bit of a thing for.

Positive points above about the singer Adele agreed with.

Sorry, I should have made myself clear as to who I was talking about - it's not like she's the only Adele in the world!

Interesting question. Of course, it begs another question. Just what is a 'BBW'?

Personally, I think the term is pretty meaningless and simply a euphemism to describe a clinically obese woman. A woman can be beautiful, whatever her size and equally as unattractive, to the subject eye.

Do obese women float my boat sexually? I'd have to say not really, I'm afraid. I do love to punt curvy women, but this is something completely different. I tend to punt between size 8 and 12. Sometimes size 14 and on occasion, a size 16, but this is height dependent. Therefore on that front, I agree with smiths. I have punted a couple of size 18's and even a 20 plus in the past, just to try it out but it really didn't do anything for me. I like to have energetic sex, in a lot of different positions and simply find it much easier with slimmer women, in addition to the aesthetics. I also found that during sex, larger women tend to have to work harder and therefore sweat more, which I found quite a turn off, to be honest. And then there are men, who just can get enough of a larger woman.

There's enough to go around for everyone. :)

BBW really suits some ladies. Definitely agree with Adele being sexy, and also Gemma Collins from The Only Way is Essex too.

As has already been said some can be extremely beautiful and appealing to the eye...and unfortunately some not but that goes for all shapes and sizes so nothing new there...

Your right Chloe, outside of the sex world BBW is big business and I'm not talking about feeders either (although there is a massive market for that too as well as Chubby Chasing).   In virtually every city now there are BBW clubs, nights out and lots of dating websites aimed directly at that market but completely outside of the sex market.  It's not a term I've ever liked though because it doesn't really mean a lot.

Its interesting to see that both Smiths and Dr Z considered a size 16 as being BBW when it's now common knowledge that the average British woman is now a size 16.  I wouldn't consider anybody under a size 18 to be a BBW unless of course they are about three foot high.

To me (especially within the confines of this business) the term should mean Big Beautiful Woman but like all terms that come out of America it tends to cover a wider scale.  I recently showed Sarah the photo of a lady who is definitely on the larger side of the scale and earning massive money out of the Chubby Chasing market but she as I said before is also facially the most beautiful woman I have ever seen.  The term fits her perfectly but sadly not all.

Just as an aside one of the most famous male porn stars is well known for his love of the BBW, lots and lots of men adore them.

Some interesting comments here about BBW in general.

I suspect that the OP meant SPs, whereas I think we have to acknowledge that many none SPs are indeed larger Ladies and that a fair proportion of men are therefore married to larger Ladies, so the derogatory comments made mean to me, that these men are not able to look beyond their wives/partners sizes and love them. This is sad.

I dont care what other people might consider to be a BBW though Holly. Its what i consider to be a BBW that matters to me of course and who i fancy.

True but it's potato/patato isn't it. I'd be prepared to bet the term originated in the sex industry and whereas those clubs, dating sites etc may not be a part of that industry they're still specifically catering for what could be termed a sexual fetish - so they're off-shoots
