NO it was on the 23rd

The website is still up wonder if they are back again.

As I understand it they were served with a closure order; the website is from 2012 and has no updated material (eg rota etc).  One item in the Yorkshire Post article that has been discussed elsewhere is "Home Office prostitution warnings were issued to 24 of the women". Perhaps our legal reps can advise what precisely these are or is this just a figment of the journalist's imagination. Probably the most ludicrous piece in the coverage is

The evidence we have uncovered so far suggests these premises are being run as an organised criminal enterprise despite attempts to portray it as a legitimate massage parlour or health club."

Bearing in mind that the police prosecution against the previous owners fell apart when they admitted they knew it had operated as a brothel for years; this is an incredible misstatement by the guardians of the law. Some details here:-

Are you confusing the Yorkshire Post, and the Yorkshire Evening Post.  While from the same publishers, the Yorkshire Post purports to be a locally based national newspaper.  The Yorkshire Evening Post is generally a Leeds local evening paper and far more sensational.  Other towns and cities close by have their own evening papers, like the Telegraph and Argus in Bradford and the The Press in York, for example.

My first job was delivering the YEP for local newsagent.  And the 'green un' sports edition on saturdays.
