I agree.  A good blog reflects your personality.  The trick is to navigate between the mundane and disclosing too much personal info.

There are some good blogs out there, don't try and copy them, but take them as inspiration for your own.  Having said that I tend not to read blogs these days except when I am looking at someone who I have not visited before and then if she has a blog I will look at it.  You do pick up extra clues from reading a blog that either confirms your interest ;)  or sometimes negates it

One bugbear of mine is seeing spelling mistakes :o  Write your blog offline and spellcheck it and also re-read it before posting it.  Details like that matter imo as careless spelling signifies sloppiness or worse.

My bugbear is grammatical errors. Should be "don't try to copy them" :P

Two good initial answers.

Just be yourself and write about what interests you in life and events in the world and some aspects of your life that do not compromise your anonymity.

I guess some slightly sexy stuff would also appeal to a certain sort of audience ;)

Hi Victoria,

Happy New Year and I am pleased you are back on the Forum.

Not sure if you are going to blog on your own site or on AW, but the one thing I do not like to see is loads of silly jokes which are probably cut and pasted from other sites.Ironically one of the best (IMO) bloggers on the other site puts these in when she has not got something to say, or adds them to her blog of the day.

I would rather you only blogged when you had something interesting to say like had a an interesting encounter with a guy and his girl last week. Obviously no names mentioned, but as has happened to me on a couple of occasions it is nice to see meetings one has been part of being recounted to a wider audience.

I will drop you an e mail in a day or two of some blogs which might give you inspiration.

Hope all is well with you.

Regards,

David

Hi Vic

You are an experienced writer, so I am sure you will not fall foul of the grammar police :D.

Concentrate on your thoughts and feelings about your experiences is my advice. Try and get across some of your personality. Avoid describing the mundane (what I had for breakfast) and the "god I am so hot for sex" type entries. Don't worry about appealing to everyone. Let the "real" (I mean the escort persona) shine through and the punters who you'll have a mutually good time with will appear. Try and be something you are not and the wrong guys (for you) may get interested.

If you're using your blog to attract new viewers (and potential new clients) to your site then you need to read up on SEO! You can still blog about whatever you like but there are helpful things you can add to it bring yourself high on the list if anyone is googling things that might be relevant to you ie Escort Washington or something more specific regarding you or you services.

I won't rattle on in case you know all this but give me a shout of you want any hints!
