Hi Linford whilst text can be useful I find it can be a right faff, especially when you are trying to do something and someone isn't interpreting the message correctly.

Apart from the odd occasion when I cannot speak I prefer phone call all the way.

My advice would be to check everything in your initial communication be that email, text or phone call, get everything answered then there's no need for messages to be flying back and forth at the lat minute, or you desperately trying to phone at a time that isn't possible for her.

Why don't you just send them a simple short text if you can't reach them on the phone along the lines: hi xx, let me know when you're free and will call to chat about a booking? She'll text you when she's free and then you can explain everything over the phone without having to send any messages?

I only answer one or two texts sent by the same person I.e availability and location after that I ask them to call.

Only time I have accepted booking without a chat on the phone was with a partially deaf client but even then a booking form had to be completed before we met the first time. Now I know he is sound ...

Just phone for details! no need to tell them anything about yourself unless she asks!

I am sure there are lots of girls who meet dyslexic guys.  I met once a very good looking older guy who failed though to inform me he did not have a leg.  The hotel was most accommodating to his needs, I noticed, and he was a complete sweetheart to me.  I remember I went home and I started crying.

Yep its always better for me if they phone especially if it's a short notice booking..it is really frustrating when guys email asking if they can meet me in say an hours time, most often the answer is going to be no by the time I have picked up the email say 15 mins later and then waited for them to reply etc etc...I just reply with please phone me, more often that not. I also like to have a quick chat on the phone for security reasons i.e they sound over 18 etc etc.

As for if I don't answer then try again a little later or text and ask me to let you know when I can take a phone call. I try to make it as simple to book me as possible.

I guess he shuffled up the stairs on his bum!! Or did you mean that he only had one leg; there is quite a difference you know ;)

My emails and texts are all over the place, cant stand doing it but hey just write and send. People who are anal about that kind of thing well, they just cant see past the fact you are trying but are too busy to write Shakespeare.
