Retirement And Resurrection, The Update (1)

I posted in January about having surgery after prostate cancer and as I am on a bit of a journey other people my be on, I am going to share my new experiences.

The good news for me was that when I saw the surgeon he confirmed that my PSA was actually zero and I told him I was pissing like a horse with only limited loss of control, usually relating to what i was doing such as heavy lifting. So surgeon's priorities 1 and 2, to clear the cancer and retain urinary control were achieved 100%

The bad news was that I was informed that he had been unable to use the nerve sparing technique during surgery so was not surprised that I had no active feelings in the penile area, and prescribed me viagra which he said in his opinion was unlikely to work, and a penis pump. So the third priority to maintain sex function scored zero.

I already had a small supply of generic viagra that i kept just for parties, so decided to test first without company (no result at all) and then with company. It was a bit difficult contacting a lady saying probably nothing is going to happen down there but I found a very sympathetic partner who was listed on TLC but that I actually had seen before. The actual encounter went off nicely but reminded me of petting sessions with girls who would not permit intercourse, although in reality it was available, I just couldn't get an erection to do it. Having my cock sucked when it was very soft felt very odd, not unpleasant at all, but a bit tickle-ish. At first it was a bit like having oral after a come and some rest, so being got up for a second go, but usually I would firm up gradually in such a situation so the tickling sensations would gradually have been replaced by something a bit more pleasant, but not this tme.

What was good for me was that I felt ready to contemplate a punt. Of course part of the pleasure is the touch, taste (especially) and feel of a horny woman and its there regardless of any intercourse that might take place, and has always been a fundamental pleasure for me. I was able to give plenty of pleasure as only my cock is out of action, not the rest of me...... So while the idea of a penis pump seemed strange I began to research the area and actually I am getting used to the idea, so it's going to be the next step. Maybe someone here would share their experience as I have already heard of girls with clients that have to use one.

Once I have done the penis pump thing i will post again.

I'm pleased that you've recovered from surgery and that the sexual desire is gradually beginning to return.  Good luck with the pump and I wish you a full and speedy recovery.

Its hard to keep a perspective on it but if you think that within 5 years according to the surgeon there would have been spread of the cancer requiring much more extensive treatments and less certain outcomes, compared to what seems to be 100% cure with little risk of recurrence, I have to count myself fortunate. I had a great sex life in the past, much more than many men, up to age 60 as well, so i have nothing to complain about, although I am missing cetain things

The penis pump is probably a lot more common that you realise.  Just ,make sure you choose one that is not too faffy and fiddly and you will be fine.  I am glad you are on the road to recovery.  I remember an afternoon in Leeds a good few years ago and know you have a strong sexual appetite :)

Can' t keep a good man down.

Huge congratulations on the success of the operation. My total respect to you for girding up your loins and setting off on a new world of sexual adventures. I am not being flippant, or I hope offensive, but have you considered lesbian sexual techniques such as strap ons? I know it won't be your dick in the action but you will be in the saddle with a willing pair of legs wrapped around you.

I have several relatives who suffered because of this: a gorgeous cousin who was a military doctor and died when I was very young, an uncle who died of complications and most recently I heard of another relative who will undergo the second surgery after having had the first one only months ago.  This is a very serious issue, great to hear lots of men get checked nowadays.

Maybe now you will be able to enjoy sex in ways that you didn't explore before, like a man who loses his sight starts to hear sounds he has never heard before.

I wish you the best possible journey.

Just like to add my congratulations on the success of the your operation. I recently had heart surgery and suffered from operative ED. This is now thankfully resolved but while it was there gave cause to some worry as whether I would ever be able to enjoy penetrative sex again. So from the basis of my own experience I would just like to say that I admire your equanimity and positive about your present condition as I am not all sure that I could be quite as composed...although with the cancer gone I imagine that there is a sense that this is the least worst option and that while there is life there is hope.

In my period of down time I found that tantric massage was quite a revelation, to the extent that I discovered that my whole body could be turned into one big erogenous zone. If you are in the position of having to recalibrate or reorientate your erotic responses, you might consider this, although you have mentioned that you have lived a very full life so may already have tried it.

Someone I can recommend is a Hungarian lady called Jasmin. I found her on AW (have not been able to find here); she is a properly qualified therapist in a number of disciplines (and offers no other services) who is based near Spitalfields. She is professional, very pleasant and has sufficient medical knowledge to understand what she is dealing with. Happy to give you further details if you would like stop PM me

I wish you all the very best in your changed circumstances.

Thanks I've got the t-shirts for that and similar things.
