Organised crime groups flooding Scotland with Brazilian prostitutes

I don't know about Mafia-run brothels and trafficking, but Michelle in Aberdeen is definitely independent, absolutely gorgeous and a whole lot of fun.

Reading that article don't you just love the way that anyone who is in the country working but without the relevant visa is automatically trafficked and therefore exploited.

The idea that someone could choose to work overseas for much higher sums than they earn back home voluntarily isn't even acknowledged.

I agree with your comments but it would depend on your interpretation of "trafficking" -------- if girls are assisted to enter this country illegally then they could still be classed as trafficked ------- even if they are more than willing to come here.

I think the definition even includes internal travel within the UK!

Leaving aside the question of how many there really are, and how many of them really are trafficed, assuming that at the story is at least partially true, I remain puzzled at what the scots punter sees in an up-market dusky dolly, who hardly speaks English, and certainly has no Gaelic atall.

Nice to see that an (unnamed) Glasgow detective sees all prostitution as "violence against women".

using the word trafficing only serves to bolster image and try to assist with funding demands. They are desperate to keep themselves in nice coosty jobs - a whole department geared up to 'fighting' the scorage of traffiked women, wasted resourses that should be going towards trying to find out what low life stole my televison, or rounding up the drug low life that exists out there, and beore they come back with the drugs are linked to prostitution one weve heard it all before.

traffiking is a very small part of the overall picture - most prostitution in the uk is independants and thats what hurts the government - a money making revenue that they have no control over.

The economist pointed out some time back that most sex workers are foreign for the simple reason that this is not a job that most people are confortable about doing on their own doorstep, but the gaurdian readers have a problem accepting this blindingly obvious fact, plus the hypocrites love watching tv dramas about trafficking, chance to look at women in their underwear. This is the country of adam smith, though the socialists have turned the country into one big council estate.

I loved this bit from Scotland on Sunday:

"Earlier, immigration officials in Newcastle refused to allow a Brazilian woman to enter the country. She claimed to be on a weekend break - but all she had with her was a bag of lingerie."........

Not only in Scotland, but also it is happening in various forms in all over the uk for girls from every part of the world. We as punters, only see the glossy part this business, but the appropriate authorities can be able to see behind the scene what is going on.

HOW do you know all these things as you have posted on other threads that a lot of EE ladies on A/W have pimps who manage many of them in a widespread way. As a punter who punts with EE ladies quite a bit i dont have the insight you seem to have, so HOW do you, and how do you know its widespread?

Crucially are you alleging this managing by pimps is voluntary by the ladies of their own free will, or are you alleging they are working against their wills, in which case WHAT have you done about this?

I have noted your posts making allegations yet when i asked the above questions like on your recent thread you dont give an answer. Why is this? Please provide the answers to my questions? Overall i am interested as a punter how you know what you say you do and how could you possibly know how widespread it is. I would appreciate a detailed reply please.

Well said.

I too would be very interested in some supporting evidence.

As ever it would be helpful to know whether 'trafficked' is defined as 'forced' or 'agreed under duress' as per the Palermo Protocol or, as so often, is sloppily used to include woman who as come to work in Scotland voluntarily but perhaps with the assistance of others and not in full accordance with immigration law?

Actually guys, on a similar note I walked past a couple of Eastern European looking lads. They were chatting in a foreign language and coming out of a building site wearing dusty work gear.

As you can imagine I was appalled at this blatant example of people trafficking. These poor lads are clearly being forced to work on dangerous construction sites against their will.

I'm sure they'd thank me if I tried to get them kicked out of their jobs and sent home.

It appears Dreamweaverman doesnt want to give any supporting evidence or answer my questions even though he was online well after i posted them. Of course that is up to him but i believe his silence speaks volumes IMO.:)

Concur - and any evidence should already have been passed on to the relevant authorities

Not sure what DWM's agenda is - wasn't there a speculation of a girl possibly having been trafficked on one of his FR's?

Remember that if a WG has come to the UK outside of the legal channels, then although the travel may have been voluntarily undertaken by the WG and the drivers may have been all sweetness 'n' light on the journey here, once the girls are in danger of a knock on the door from the immigration cops the 'duress' element of the problem may well kick in very quickly.

But surely the implied duress is that immigration would be called and the WG would no longer be able to work as a prostitute and be deported home.

Which if they are being forced to work under duress... is exactly what they would want!

Or I am missing something here? Would the WG risk imprisonment in the UK?

Haha, not every Scot whats to shag pasty white girls with faggy buckfast breath who doesn't stop nattering ned-speak during a session

Some of us actually prefer foreign women!

Ever considered their figures, skin, colouring, alternative looks, accents, culture?

So narrow minded to just stick with Sengas :)

You're quite right. Thankfully, only a few are as you describe. There plenty that are not.

When I moved to Aberdeen over a decade ago there were very few none white people living here. During that time there's been a big influx of black, 'dusky' - apologies for my ignorance but what colour would you class South Americans ? - but mainly due to the oil industry activities in South America and Africa.

I would hazzard a guess that once moved into Scotland it wouldn't take an Einstein to work out it could be lucrative to work here as a prostitute and facilitate those wanting to work here coming over.

After recent cases of true trafficking in Aberdeen I wouldn't be suprised if there was some still going on but hopefully it's at a minimum and the police are usually pretty good at nipping it in the bud.

You should make sure you get government funding for this valuable and selfless work.

Otherwise you'd definitely be missing a trick.

You are missing that the scenario is that the WG came to the UK voluntarily attempting to make money (see my previous post). Nothing particularly wrong with that. But deportation would kinda put a spanner in her works

Remember that we are discussing what gets filed as 'working under duress' and what does not. I'm saying that in such instances as I describe, there would be a case for saying that duress occurred.
