In my experience the Parlour in Manc are far better than London in terms of environment and décor, also most ladies appeared to be British.  The major difference is the parlours though tends to be the open lounge where punters and girls freely mix together watching tv, chatting, or having a drink whilst waiting for booking or girl to finish her appt.

It does take a bit of getting use to, but all the guys are there for the same thing!

A group based not too far from Porkershire "The Lancashire Hotpots" sing a song entitled "We Love the North". I suggest that you find it on you tube and have a listen. It will tell you lots about Oop North, but maybe not so much about the escort scene. A read of the reviews here might also be instructive about the parlours and indies who operate successfully here.

Property prices in London are around 5 times prices in the north, so my first "real" suggestion would be to come on up, charge 20% of your London prices and I bet the guys will beat a path to your door. I hope to be at the head of the queue

Rates are lower generally but Leeds is vibrant for agencies and indies parlours are shut down though.Plenty of parlours in Bradford and Manchester though. Some of us indies in the city centre get alot of work from the business men that travel through as it is a big city in the North. As well as from all over the U.K we get lots of Swedish,Danish,French and German and Americans.

There seem to be more premium motors on the roads up north than in the Home Counties - maybe 'cos they don't need to pay such silly money for a normal house up there, so leaves more for life's indulgences?

I only ever tried to punt once in Manc. I booked a gorl to visit my hotel on an outcall. Great comms up until the day of the punt then silence and a no show. This can happen anywhere mind, so don't take it to heart. I have had great punts in Leeds, Hull, Preston and Blackpool, so it's not really all grim oop north.

I must admit that I've been to Sandy's a few times and always make a point of attending if I'm in the area - I especially like the waiting room idea! ;)

Hard to criticise Manchester as a punting scene except that some good parlours have closed in recent years where before all seemed tolerance from the local authorities.

I used to go up by coach and visit various parlours on the city centre to Bury metro including one of the Sandy's parlours.

I would say it is still a vibrant scene as I am sure are such places as Leeds.

There is a history of northern girls being beautiful (it always used to seem to be northern girls who won beauty contests) and they are pretty up for it too - me generalising??

Have to say, I dropped out of those regular visits but I simply became a bit skint for multi-girl visits but also found some great girls the midland towns I visit for other reasons.

At one time in the north west you could get fantastic cod, chips and mushy peas...so I don't waste my money on that now, and put it towards punting instead..ha ha

I will keep to the straight and narrow - re the earlier comment about all Leeds parlours being shut some time ago: what about the really really big one that got some publicity a few months ago?

If it and/or the other parlours have gone, surely there must still be a vibrant scene in a different form - i.e. houses/flats with girls that is a parlour but without a shop front and name?

Oooh yes and the smell of the hot newspapaer / ink was as good as the fish and chips inside.

Just as an aside, when I lived in the states there were 'genuine english' fish and chip shops but I thought it rather odd that they wrapped their sales in paper printed as if it was an issue of the times / guardian etc.

Those would be shared flats i.e indies sharing a place. In this respect Leeds is the same as everywhere else.I believe Cov was talking about walkin type parlours...oh and I would not say Winstons was particularly the biggest its just the last remaining one and we can only speculate as to why it keeps getting reopened. It did relocate though.

Thanks Bibi. When Winstons got publicity a while ago it did seem to be described as having more girls than most (at relevant times) than any other place I had come across on the lines of what some German places appear to be like.

But I am not sure of my facts as you can tell.
