Reviews Of You - How Does It Feel?

50 posts in this topic

I have done a few reviews in my time - I did one a couple of days ago on here in fact - but I always wonder what the reviewees think of them.   I can see that a stack of rave reviews is probably going to encourage the punters, which is the point obviously, but do the ladies ever read these things about themselves and think, was that really me he's talking about? did I really do that?

For instance, in my last review, I described receiving oral sex, cumming in the lady's mouth and her (probably) swallowing it.  Now, if that was written about her in civvy terms, she might well be embarrased or even shocked.   Certainly, if details about a sexual encounter with me were posted on the internet, I might be extremely peturbed; equally, I might well say, yes thats about it and damn good it was too.

So how do you feel about your reviews?

The escort always has the right to ask you not to submit a review, or to ask for you to edit it a bit. I generally ask before I depart if a review would be well received. Some don't like them at all.

As a, normally, thoughtful kind of a chap, that had never occurred to me as being a good idea.  Now you say it, I can see the sense in asking first.

Odd for men only to have answered so far, letting me join the trend. I do generally ask first and sometimes ask if they did something they don't want described as if everybody would get it.

Like almost all of us, I have had only positive comments on AW feedback but I am sure I would feel differently if criticised or even if a sexual act by me (or my tendency to shout 'you never had it so good girl, tell me I'm right, bitch') was described in any greater detail than I felt warranted.

So how do you feel about your reviews?

But it isn't. Most wgs take steps to conceal their civvy identity - often without face photos; almost always, I'd imagine, with a different name; and so on. What you describe happening in the bedroom is what this "second life" person has done. In the same way, when "Mr. Bloom" talks about what he gets up to, that is not to be confused with what I myself would be prepared to discuss about my life in public. She'd be as horrified as any of us if her civvy sex life got plastered all over the internet with her name attached.

This is a make-believe world. Enjoy it as such.

We are not talking about civvy life though we are talking about a guy describing the services he purchased from us.Completely different to if a boyfriend suddenly decided to write up a session and post it on the internet!

If a lady gets so upset about someone doing a graphic review about what we got up to she is possibly not thick skinned enough for this kind of job.

I have no problem with reviews about myself as long as they are accurate and true. I wouldn't be surprised at the content as that's what I do in bookings, the only thing which would surprise me is if a bloke lied and said I did a service I don't offer. Thankfully malicious reviewers are few and far between.

Reviews do help build up an escorts reputation and does encourage other clients to book. They are also there to help out fellow clients to make a decision about who they want to see. I personally have no problem at all with them and I actually enjoy reading them.

You assume that all WGs are happy for you to post such graphic detail of a personal encounter in non 'civvy terms'? ......and you describe yourself as 'thoughtful'!

Some girls might be cool with that, but I'm sure some wouldn't (regardless of what services they offer) and might prefer some degree of discretion to be shown by clients.

I've stopped reviewing, simply because I have no idea of whether anyone ever reads them.  My time is too precious to waste composing a review which is probably only going to be read by a dozen half-interested punters.

But we do want to know if they do certain things or not. Otherwise, it's a waste of time.

The old Puntingzone site would indicate how many hits your review had had. Not a bad idea.

Glad to hear not everyone's time is as worthless as mine.

I don't assume anything and, to be honest, it's hardly a personal encounter but that's partly why I asked the question.  We all know what goes on, more or less, and any lady reviewed will be in the business of supplying that.  As Bibi says, to paraphrase anyway, this is not a business for the thin skinned.

I wasn't asking do you like to be reviewed, although that is a relevant, but different, question.  I was asking if a review ever makes a lady stop and think for a second, either in a good or bad way.

And we want to know a little bit about the lady in question too - is she pleasant, can she converse, does she have a filthy laugh etc.

We guys must be mindful of giving away too much information. I once described a place in too much detail with the result that it might have been possible for the place to be identified by Joe Public. I have learned my lesson and don't get too specific in terms of the place, furnishings etc. Keep it general (clean, tidy, easy to find, 10 mins walk from station etc etc) and your review will be better appreciated

Being reviewed is not for the faint hearted. I have done one or two things in my time that were subject to reviews in the public domain and, while the majority or reviews were good, it's the bad ones that you dwell on. And they do hurt.

It is kind of odd, to see yourself as others see you.

But it is interesting, cos sometimes you take something for granted, e.g. well this is the way I always give blowies ..., and some guy raves about the one you gave him in a review, and you think "Really?.."

It makes you contemplate how other people's experiences compare to your own.

Come on man......... the thread was only started at mid day!

I was at a crucial stage on CandyCrush and could not reply until now.

Reviews:

A necessary evil.... I don't want to seem ungrateful but I just wish some fellows would read through carefully before submitting as I have a feeling some are so keen to see their prose in print that they do not stop to think it could be there for all eternity...... the lady in question bearing the brunt of those comments.

Of course it is great to read complimentary things about oneself.

I have never been too keen to read the sticky details of what went on between me and Norman......... but as has been stated those reviews belong to the reviewer and not the wg.

A few of mine have been deleted at my request.... the request going to the writer...... because what they wrote either bore little relation to the meeting and/or they contained ridiculous comments which I found embarrassing.

Carry on reviewing though guys.... some of them are quite entertaining.

Paul this is so true.

This is what I meant when I said "read through first and THINK"

I remember that the terrifying Nadia Irmani once confessed to reading through her old reviews when she was feeling down.

It is annoying when you have reports deleted just because the person who wrote them was daft enough to get themselves banned. The girls in the reviews  dont deserve to lose them. I have lost around 6 this way at least or because the guys have either left or deleted their reviews perhaps.

I dont mind criticism so long as its  constructive and honest. I do like having them though, they are kind of like the equivalent to a certificate albeit not official of course. They show that you know your stuff etc and they do attract other clients.

I do agree though sometimes that a review thats loooooong and flowery can be a bit embarrassing if its way over the top.

Come on lady, i wasn't getting at SPs, just noticing that I was the third person to respond who wasn't being asked to do so by the OP.

Self-flagellation surely not a crime, even if an extra.

Only joshing, Lynn.

English Rebecca69, at your self-confessed age you really haven't got enough time left to catch up the long and winding detail that resulted in that situation...

Only joshing, Rebecca, Chloe and couldn't care less if L offended.

Better to shut your mouth and appear a fool than open it and remove all doubt.

If you hadn't mentioned the Bearskins and the big garden you might have got away with it?
