Where Does The Time Go ?

9 posts in this topic

When I log into a forum, read a few threads ( normally only part of them ), post a bit myself, check out a few sites-- I look at the time and see holy shit,I have eaten into a huge bite of it. Instead of logging on, I could have done the week's shopping, met a few clients,,cleaned the car and have completed a booking with an escort !!   Maybe its just me ! :P

There we are, then. Maybe you need to stop cajoling us busy WGs into wasting our time by talking about our orgasms, and get on with your chores instead. Chop, chop!!

Indeed not. The internet can be a pernicious thing. I'm often in the same position: screen sucking when I should be doing something useful. Really odd, isn't it, hanging out on forums with complete strangers. I have friends I've not called in absolutely weeks, yet I waste time reading the opinions of people I'm unlikely to ever meet and don't know anything about (other than their interest in the sex industry). And, in true hypocritical fashion, I take the piss out of teenagers with their facebook "friends" (i.e. people they've never met).

I remember all the promises that time saving modern technology was going to give us all so much more leisure time, but it hasn't worked out this way for me. I just feel like a drone to my various screens.

Yes but there are things and worries that posters can share and talk about on a forum like this, that they could never do on Facebook. I have learnt a huge amount about humanity and indeed about myself by punting and contributing to this and other forums.

When I first discovered PN MBs I saw it as an informative and entertaining way to while away many an idle hour ^_^

But these days I can only find snatches of time to contribute to the MBs cos of the pressures of life's other daily tasks bearing down on me

Who knows where the time goes, indeed

I agree with this particularly when entering something that is new to you and not PC so to speak. Couldnt really go ask friends and relatives about advertising my wares or discuss the benefits of what makes me orgasm hoping the next chap will read and oblige lol......

Same here, check a few threads and post a bit then I move on.  I only stay longer if I am doing other things at the same time and I cannot be bothered with other Forums.
