What are we paying for....Time or services ?

19 posts in this topic

I wondered, given that most ladies have a disclaimer on their profile, usualy stateing that:

'you are paying for companionship and time only, and anything that happens of a sexual nature is between consenting adults' blah blah blah....

So we are paying for their time, and the sexual services are free?

How come then some ladies have a priced menu? :o

i.e. O.W.O. = £20 extra,

A levels = £25 extra

Cim = £20 extra, etc, etc,

I know the disclaimer is there for legal reasons, so do the ladies who have a menu realise they are leaving themselve wide open for presecution? :D

In the UK there is no reason why you cannot list services, prostitution is legal, the disclaimer just make some people feel better about themselves and has no legal standing whatsoever.

wide open for presecution? :o

That does sound painful - does it per chance involve electrodes? :D

The T&C disclaimer, along with the burgeoning "I'm not coerced etc." disclaimer, has, for legal purposes, all the aerodynamic qualities of a half-brick. I base that statement on the very simple fact that if something is proved to be so, then all the disclaimers in the world will not disprove it.

What exactly those "legal" reasons are?

Because some ladies and establishments prefer to charge in different ways. In an establishment it gives the girl a chance to earn a little bit extra without having to split it with the house.

If an indie were to charge by services then you could have a situation where 1 chap could stay for a long time just paying for one activity which would be rather unfair on the WG who could be seeing other clients who spend less time.

As a result time generally becomes the basis of the charge with some adding on extras within that time, or others having an all inclusive charge for each unit of time. Some guys prefer the former so they can chose which services when they pay, others the latter since it can then be more spontaneous and flow more naturally.

Horses for courses.

It's not a problem, it helps to pass the time. My only concern is that if they bring out any more legislation along the lines of the current offering, that it will take about a half an hour to wade through the yards of meaningless drivel made up of various disclaimers and statements that will be about as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike, before you find out that the single mention of services offered is some passing reference to GFE and that the pictures are of some porn star.

Presumably based on the legal notion that :

If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck then it probably is a duck

True, also the duck that it actually is, is not illegal, thus reducing it to a lame duck at the very best.

The lame duck may have hobbled in on a migration from the US of A, to escape the decoy ducks required to comply with US laws.

A good point, I wonder if it might be a trafficked duck?

Rather than birds from the US, a Pochard is more likely to have dubious immigration status.

The largest breeding populations are found in Russia (up to 100,000 pairs), Poland (40,000 to 50,000) and Romania (20,000 to 40,000).

Now those are the sorts of figures which probably formed the basis of Guvmint thinking on foreign birds in the UK.

I did have another thread in mind: Bareback the pro's & con's? :o

When i book a punt i look for those ladies that charge by time, for me this is because in my experience some EE ladies i have used have had a cum twice in an hour rule which is no good to me, so i require a cum as many times as you want/can service.

I very rarely punt with ladies who charge extra for OWO or CIM, i look for an inclusive price usually with the at discretion phrase added in case the guy smells etc. With A levels it is usually always an extra as the punter might have a cock too big for the lady to take.

Just a second thought on the "I am not coerced etc." declaration/statement. Unlike the T&C disclaimer (I accept the "It does no harm" argument that is often used with reference to the T&C disclaimer, and this holds good for both the punter and the prostitute) which can be discounted as meaningless, useless and totally irrelevant drivel by all and sundry, the "I am not coerced etc." declaration/statement is a trifle more interesting, as there has not been any case brought under the new legislation it is impossible for any prostitute/brothel/agency, albeit in good faith, to make such a categorical declaration/statement, who knows what some magistrate in deepest darkest Billericay may decide what does and does not constitute coercion etc., so with the best will in the world the declaration/statement should be viewed as "To the best of my knowledge and belief, I am not coerced etc.", this puts it in the "fairly useless category", but as the new legislation is "strict liability" it must be consigned to the totally useless, to the punter at least, category.

Of course it is good advertising for the prostitute/brothel/agency but the punter should not lose sight of the fact that if he/she is convicted under the new legislation, that the coerced etc. prostitute will not, and cannot, be prosecuted for being so, so it could be argued that "It does no harm", however not to put a too finer point on it, this time that only holds good for the prostitute.
