Do A Durex Performa Work?!

13 posts in this topic

Hi there

I am looking at trying these condoms which contain some desensitiser at the teet to last longer and wondering if anyone has used them and experiences?

I currently have issues lasting more than 1min and in a 30/1hr punt once this happens don't have the urge for round 2, which is why knocking one out prior isn't an option. Also foreplay doesn't help!!

Thanks

I have used something similar and I think they can work.  However. they can desensitise the penis and you may lose some sensation.  I'm sure they had the opposite effect on me and I couldn't cum for love nor money!  I would say buy some and try it nothing to lose apart from a few £'s!

I wouldnt allow someone to use those tbh. I made the mistake years ago of buying something similar by accident and the poor guys were almost worn out  trying to cum. One guy couldnt cum at all. Its better to ask the girl to go slowly than to slap something on your cock that delays cuming surely. Plus of course if you are using them in an escort situation you are going to have to show her the packet before you use them and I can imagine some would say no once they realised that you want to use delay condoms, some guys take long enough to cum anyhow x

Yes i didnt think she might want to see an unopened pack

However i cant imagine theywill completely stop me from cumming totally just delay it slightly..seeing as it takes me nothing-1min currently it might have a 100% improvement!!

I just wanted to see peoples experience of these the reviews seem mixed. But i guess i will just have to try them out!

It depends. I would try one at home first for a wank before you use one for your booking because I did meet one guy who couldnt cum and the others who used those condoms had real trouble cuming. Plus of course you have an actual man who has commented on here that they possibly stopped him from cuming too.

I tried those once by accident. I could not finish. My member was rock hard all the time but it was numb. It was like having sex with another man's penis:) I gave up after 45 minutes and did not cum. The worst experience i had.

A friend of mine though uses them without any problems.

Someone on this forum recommended Mates Skyn because they allow greater stimulation, I suppose the opposite of delay condoms. I have the problem that I often lose my erection during penetrative sex and can't usually orgasm that way. I thought these Mates Skyn might help, but when I asked the WG if I could use them she said no, hers are thicker and safer. So I used one of hers and had the usual problem. I can understand her point of view, she thought that the thicker ones are significantly safer in the sense that they're unlikely to split. However, I think the more sensitive ones are safe, and if it means that I come sooner, and enjoy my time with her more, then that could be good for her too. Or perhaps WGs don't want men to bring their own condoms no matter what they are, for fear of him having tampered with them beforehand? There are some strange people who might do such a thing.

Quite the opposite, the thicker ones are likely to snap in my opinion and experience as they have little stretch in them. The thinner ones have more give so are more likely to stretch a bit more than just ping. Which can you stretch further, a skinny laccy band or a super thick laccy band? x

It won't matter whether the laccy is skinny or thick if it has perished or has a manufacturing flaw.  I find Pasante Sensitive (or the much pricied Sensiva) are very fine (55 microns or so) but withstand the dreaded fingernail test.

If you are specifically looking for solutions to PE I can personally recommend Promescent, which behaves in a similar way to "perfromance enhancing condoms" but is applied as a spray directly to the penis and is highly absorbent (and if you wipe the penis after application it is virtually unnoticeable).  Due to its nature, you can vary the dosage from one spray to up to ten depending on how severe your condition is - and you can also experiment with dosages by seeing how it affects your sensitivity when masturbating.

Personally, I wouldn't let a lady perform oral on me after using it for her safety and comfort, but if you are willing to forgo that it's a great solution and can be applied discretely (e.g. after getting out of the shower).

At the moment it can only be purchased from the US, but there are sellers on eBay who will dispatch it to the UK for a modest fee.

I would not let a client I don't know bring his own condoms, but there is really no truth to the idea that Skyns are less safe. Thinner condoms are tested as extensively and to the same standards as thicker ones.

My regular allows me to bring my own condoms-Mates Skyns- but I have been a regular for some time and I did not ask until we really knew each other well. I cannot always cum wearing a thick condom but Skyns are very strong as well as being thin. Because they are both strong and thin they cost more to make and are consequently a lot more expensive ( but worth every penny imo )

I have heard that some people have allergic reactions to the durex condoms - I dont know of any other brand that uses that gel
