Adultwork Alerts. Is The Site Over Zealous Or Actually Helping Us Punters?

76 posts in this topic

Recent, new profiles have largely been identified as being 'Alert: The authenticity...' etc.

In the Swindon area, that is.

This also coincides with the fact that the vast majority of these new profiles are EE by admission, or are written so badly, that one is suspicious.

Also, all of the 6 ladies that I contacted yesterday gave the same postcode...

My conclusion is that AW is actually helping us in one way in warning us that the profile may be false or that the ladies are from the same place and possibly trafficked, on the other hand, it is a pain in the arse to find that a search throws up 50 hits, yet a lot of them are deemed to be dodgy.

Has anyone else seen this trend?

Are AW helping us?

I get 'new member' alerts and almost always they're not genuine - at least the site's telling me that, as you say, Polly. The big problem with AW is that it's difficult to be honest, as a punter. If you are, the girl gives you a bad comment and it's harder to make another booking with someone else. The agencies - some of them - like 007 for instance, will allow customers to post negative reviews without being punished. Although, I've had mostly positive experiences with AW girls, there have been times when the lady is larger than her photos appear, but I haven't mentioned it in my review for fear of reprisal, and once when the girl I went to see didn't understand English and it was obvious that it wasn't her I'd been communicating with. I left.

Think I made some comment about this some time ago about  what's triggering the alerts, but I'm not going to post it on an open forum, have spent a lot of time and effort on this and also worked out how to get around it.

I think aw could help themselves in that when a member, male or female, reports a profile to be a fake they could actually investigate that profile before they just yank it off. Also they could help by emailing a member when they have a broken a rule. AW come out with so many new rules sometimes and they just yank your profile without telling you what rule you have actually broken, they just say "read the rules and sort it out". Thats no use when you discover that the reason they yanked your profile DIDNT break their rules..according to their rules.

I had my profile deactivated because you have to have all naughty pix in a private gallery  now. I had one pic that was almost classed as naughty by their rules so I removed it from my gallery and moved it into a private one. They then deleted the picture from my private gallery (where their email had told me it had to be) and deactivated my profile as a way of smacking my hand. Does that make sense???

I know there are a lot of ladies complaining about breaking the rules without even knowing it and being yanked yet they allow the pg scammers and fakes to stay active…they really need to shake their basket properly not just bring in half measures that the site is too big for them to implement properly or correctly.

Its the real escorts I think that suffer from all the supposed security measures whilst the fakes just keep on faking.

A/W is a site run by low lifes with no interest in helping punters just making money in my many years of using it. They allow low lifes to for example post up PG scams which they close when they choose and take the credits accrued in many cases for themselves. IMO A/W themselves also post up PG scams, let them run for a while, then delete them only to post more up again and again.

Personally i dont believe a word on a profile unless i know the WG myself or a punter i know, trust and/or respect does. Passing of profiles on happens quite a bit, one WG or her pimp passing a profile on to another WG or pimp including some so called verified profiles. Until and unless A/W is run by people who want to help punters i cant see things changing anytime soon.

Spot on Smiths.

Everything on there needs separate corroboration by a trusted source, or it's a gamble.

That said it is by far the biggest one-stop register of independents, so still a useful starting point...

AW might want to help punters as 'pollyp23' noticed, yet, in the process they target other genuine people like me: I was with them for a number of years, I had a Blog, over 500 pictures taken by me and some by clients I kept seeing, none of them revealing the privates etc, yet they decided to 'strike' on a day I paid for advertising.  I lost money and they kept 'twisting' all the information I kept sending to them.  I concluded they do not care.

I would have liked to stay there as I met some great guys, yet the AW person I kept communicating with kept messing me around trying to make me feel like a criminal.  It simply made me sick so I chose to close the account.

Indeed so BL. I use it as a location tool only as its the best their is for that. I dont and wont pay A/W one penny directly on principle, i dont directly do business with low lifes.

this is very true, its amazing how many profiles suddenly appear in an area overnight virtually identical even down to those stupid sexy girl pix they make out of pixels but nothing is done about them then a genuine escort in the same area suddenly gets her profile deactivated for some infraction that isnt even in their rules or that every escort has on their profile..there is zero rhyme or reason to how they conduct their website. Plus remember, a lot of the pg scammers are guys. So many times i have received a message from a guy with a little red number in the box next too him and its usually a case of he has two punter profiles AND an escorting profile..its ridiculous. For some strange reason aw chose to reward escorts who buy lots of credits with free credits that they can ONLY use to view other escorts private galleries, why would we need that? Anyway, during a board moment years back me and another escort I was working with at the time decided to be nosey, we clicked on a female two girl private gallery and guess what…they were men

It is good that AW put alerts on profiles that flag up as suspicious. (example = like the six girls above showing as working from the same postcode). It is a warning for all, however, they making it VERY DIFFICULT for even regular service providers to verifying when/if asked to.  Im talking about girls who have been around for a while but maybe someone in their area doesnt like the competition and reports their profile for something silly just to inconvenience them and thus allowing the rogue WG time to get some extra work in.

This is a nasty practice and something we are all powerless over.  It also applies to 'twisted' and 'demented' service seekers who can become one of the biggest pests.

SPs do security checks for visiting outside their own premises.  SS should also do a bit of investigation of the girl they are visiting and this alert should help weed out the unsafe one.

thats because despite all the comments that the rip off and pg scam and lowlife fake escorts use that site so do all the lowlife style and abusive punters because they can contact you anonymously then just close their account and start again after resetting their router. I was on there for 3 months but wasnt using it properly, just had the free profile and had not worked out that there were paid for options as i had not really investigated the site properly so I had only had a handful of bookings from it and I received a couple of emails telling me that I must be the most shit escort out there for being on aw for 3 months and still not having any feedback. What sort of scumbag sends a woman he doenst know an email like that randomly??

You have to sift through the shit the same as the guys do, its the same for both sides, there are pit falls for us all on there. For the guys the shit and fake girls and for the girls the abusive and fake guys. There are actually guys on there who just make bookings time and time again with no intention of turning up. You know that if you leave feedback saying that the guy is a serial fake booker he will leave feedback for you saying that he turned up and you were crap or you were rude when he tried to book you or something. Its a ridiculous situation all around yet girls have to be on there because some guys have grown up (punting wise) thinking that the only way to find an escort is on aw when its just not the case.

They deactivated me even though I have a link from my profile to my website then links from my website to my reviews on other review sites and here and on top of that I have an aw banner on my home page that links directly to their home page. A couple of clicks would have verified that Im a genuine escort but they dont even bother to do that. Luckily I emailed them and pointed this out and they reactivated me within an  hour but why should we have to do that, if the evidence is there that we are real why deactivate us in the first place

I have a particular offer on but it doesnt cover my quickie service, if it did it would mean i was doing a quickie for 25 so its not included, one guy failed to read my profile then got very abusive over phone and text when I pointed it out. He was clearly so gunned up at the thought of only having to pay £25 that he went mental and said he was going to report me to adult work for being fake and offering fake information on my profile. I think sometimes the real punters forget that we have to navigate the nut jobs and that sometimes when a girl is deemed "fake" its because she has fallen foul to one of these ridiculous individuals or as you said, a jealous girl who then reports other girls. That to me is the lowest of the low

I agree they deactivate for no 'real' reason at all at times.

I, myself, as well Chloe, have been deactivated because they have clicked on the 'deactivate' button rather than take the sensible route and click on the 'investigate' button.

Stupidity is one word for it, laziness is another and lack of respect and consideration are others.  They have no respect for their providers and do not give one jot if the girl in question is losing monies because of their actions.

The problem is these morons make our life harder too. After them no one else is trusted by WLs.

It supposed to be a simple easy transaction. You offer your services I am happy to pay for them.

Life is never that simple.

But I think this is why this forum is good. We can talk about the problems and probably understand better the "other" side.

PS. do you have a profile somewhere? :)

I agree. I know the punters have their issues with aw but its stacked in their favour still when compared to the escorts when a problem with a client occurs.

Unfortunately there is no perfect solution.

We have to live with the problems of the system.

If there are people who help each other like here then we can make it work for us. I am happy I've found this forum. :)

AW has identified the problem and has stamped down hard, bloody hard, the problem was massive, I've been closely watching what's going on for the last six months and it's an eye opener and that's me only concentrating on a 25 mile radius of London!

The only problem for punters is the old profiles created before November 2013 that were not subject to the new AW detection methods but these can still be closed for things like not declaring that your public pictures are not adult content rated, or your email account you set up AW with has been closed due to inactivity....

A fantastic move by aw would be for girls to not have to upload their verification pictures to the website but be able to email them in that way if they dont want the to be able to be viewed they would be secure in the knowledge that there is no way to gain access to them via the site.
