Thats an interesting little article. It missed one basic reason for staying in the industry though which is that its hard to find a reason TO leave. I can  understand if someone has a good reason for wanting to leave but if you dont, why would you

Yes, makes it all sound refreshingly normal. It's the money that's so attractive, and in this it's like many other professions. Maggie Smith recently said in an interview - I think commenting on why she'd done so much, and not always stuff of the highest quality - "Well, after a bit you just get used to the money."

You'll be a long time waiting for any evidence to back up such sweeping statements. However, if you'd asked "any irrational prejudicial beliefs to substantiate such a sweeping statement?" then you'd probably get a swift response
