Better Late Than Never...

I didnt post about this before because i knew it was a hopeless cause for me and the money was lost but thats quite a selfish attitude so here goes, this incident is a year old now but anyway i booked aw user Sexy Slut Sam to a cardiff hotel, after exchanging several emails, 28 positive feedbacks and communication being good i decided to pay the sum of £230 up front.....stupid i know but being a wheelchair user its not too easy for me to just pop to the bank so its easier for me to just wire money through to the wg's (something i wont do again and you'll find out why in a moment). Anyway two days before the meet i had a phonecall from a witheld number introducing herself as sam from aw and just to confirm the booking etc....this was before i wired her the money and oddly she asked if security at the hotel was tight which really, i suppose alarm bells should have started ringing with me but due to the feedback i trusted her, anyway to cut a long story short i wired her the money and as soon as i did that her account was suspended by aw and i never heard from her again, i had booked the room too.....85 quid lol. her account is back up and running now i noticed but i dont bother messaging her because i know i will just be ignored. its strange though because she never asked for money up front, it was all my idea so im assuming it was just an opportunist attack sort of thing on her part.....the one time a client pays up front before a meet then boy did she take it, she is surely a real escort because positive feedback goes up on her profile regularly. One thing that does haunt me a little though, the question she asked of how tight security was at the hotel, i still wonder to this day if i hadnt wired the money through and had just turned up to pay cash in hand then would the money have been extracted from me in shall we say a violent manner? we will never know i guess, anyway... aw must be in on it somehow because she didnt cancel her account herself, the account was suspended and it was to her advantage because it meant i couldnt leave negative feedback. anyway be careful of this woman. thanks for reading.

I'm sure some people might think this is a made up story from a new poster. However, I can assure anyone who doubts him that i know stpunt well as he's a regular client of mine and this whole sorry episode is (unfortunately)  entirely true.

If he's your regular client , Sarita  , then next time you see him put him over your knee and spank him hard for paying upfront and asking to be ripped off .

Oh don't worry he got a good telling off, but not because he paid upfront. i fully understand why he has to do that as it's not easy to nip to the bank when you're in a wheelchair.

Any decent WG would have turned up as promised ( as I obviously do), but I do think it's a lesson in not taking aw feedback too seriously and that's what he got a smacked bottom for!

Without doubting the OP's integrity, it's still, in some ways, an odd story. How long did she go off AW for? That would presumably result in loss of earnings for her. Along with potential hassle from a ripped-off client. And all for £230.

i dont know exactly how long she went off AW for because i really wasnt checking all that much because i knew it was a lost cause but all i can say is i checked several weeks later and she was back, even up to last month she was getting positive feedback and the guys who are leaving her positive feedback all look authentic themselves so even i myself admitt its an odd story but i can assure you its 100% true. the fact she lost god knows how much money in the time she lost her account to i pressumably avoid me/prevent me leaving negative feedback makes it the oddest thing thats happened to me during my 11 years of punting.

Oh no, what an awful story, but it just doesn't surprise me. No one should ever pay an escort before they've turned up and standing right in front of you - whilst most i'm sure majority are fine, there's more than a fair share of WG's who'd do a runner should they get a chance. AW is a murky place enough already, without risking your money in advance.

Why didn't you take it up with AW and report her to the Police? it's theft after all. If she's back on AW, then her contact details are there too, so chase it up.

You have proof of payment on your statements and her bank account details you paid into.

Or simply report it as fraud to your Bank, they might be able to indemnify it.

All a bit messy and the nature of the situation is embarrassing, i'm sure.

Lesson learned, just don't do that again.

Wonder if PayPal would've been a better option?

i kind of left it where it was because of the embarrassment of the situation, i took it as a very expensive lesson shall we say. The original plan was to pay her through paypal funnily enough but that night my account wasn't working....i guess the stars just werent aligned for me lol if i paid through paypal i probably would have got it back.  Strangely enough she never objected to a paypal payment either.

I have heard of people paying up front before - and in all cases they dont get anything for their money

she probably asked about security to give you some confidence she was seriously sizing up the job

the problem with paying up front - is once the girl has the money - she has no incentive to provide the service

Indeed, I understand why you left it. Still it makes me seethe that someone would take advantage to that level of audacity, but there you go - an example of human nature at it's best lol. As Lancelot mentioned above - there's definitely less incentive once the money's been had.

With HSBC, there's a handy new service called Paym; mobile to mobile cash payments (mobiles have to be registered to an account first, of course). Barclays have PingIt as well.

Anyway, good luck for future punts, keep ya dosh in ya pocket until it's ready to come out! :)

I accept that this incident has been verified and sympathise fully with having difficulty getting to the bank...

but...

what i find strange is...

If you have the money to send then you have already been to the bank... so why not just hold onto it until it is the right time to pay?

also...

If her AW account was suspended... for whatever reason... and this is out of her control (directly or indirectly)...

so how did you know the "clip" was intentional? What I mean is that you lost contact because her account was down and you havent spoken since? From what I can tell you havent asked her to honour the agreement or pay you back?

It is unlikely that anybody in business will chase to refund somebody... its always the person out of pocket that does the chasing...

Never mind anyway we all get clipped at some point... at least you werent left hanging round a soho side street like a dickhead - thats me...

forget it and move on.

thanks for the advice guys i appreciate it, ralhar, she had my mobile number so she had other ways of contacting me other than AW, The time she contacted to confirm she actually witheld her phone number which is unusual looking back. Like i said i didnt bother messaging giving her a piece of my mind because i just knew whoever they are would just be laughing their heads off on the other end so i guess you could say i just took it on the chin.....i did send a small message when i saw she was back on just simply saying 'thanks very much for that i saved up for ages'......she read it and instantly deleted it. on a positive note, in 11 years of punting thats my only incident so the majority of the ladies are genuine people.

Ok, to 'wire' the money I'm guessing the OP performed a banktransfer which can be done via telephone or online banking.

Secondly some clients do opt for a variety of reasons to pay in advance. Some decide they don't like carrying the cash, or it's a large amount for a long booking, or it's to cover travel expenses, or  in the case of some very nervous clients who aren't sure if they'll go through with it then forms a commitment for themselves. Finally sometimes if a guy has been unreliable then he may be asked to pay a deposit for future bookings.

In all these cases a good SP will go through with the booking, when someone pays upfront that doesn't make disappearing and not providing the service ok and nor should it be acceptable.

Definitely Hall of Shame stuff, so OP you need to provide the moderators with full details of the incident so they can make an entry.

Sorry you lost your money, and not all service providers are like that but do be aware if you pay in advance there is a chance you may lose your money - and of course genuine things can happen, whenever I've accepted a deposit or payment in advance I've always been a bit nervous that that proverbial bus in the sky is going to hit me, but so far it's not yet happened and if it did so long as I had the power to get online or pick up a pen I'd return said funds.

yes thats correct i performed a bank transfer via the telephone. Just to satisfy my own curiosity i emailed this person last night and just to confirm the second my emails go through they are instantly deleted so im guessing she blocked me. At a guess i think this woman probably really is an escort but just took the one off chance she got and did a runner with money, the other option is its a scam but i dont think so because theres just too much stuff regards paying up front that i, myself instigated. The fact her account was suspended rather than cancelled though the night after i paid her i admitt is just really weird unless she has a sure way of getting her accounts suspened at will, i just dont know. If this woman is actually an escort i could get an appointment with her tomorrow if i wanted to, im single, nothing to hide and so openly have friends who also have aw accounts who would book her out for me in a heartbeat to confront her face to face about this, its not a problem.....it would probably be quite amusing seeing the look on her face when i ask for my £230 back but im not that way inclined and eventually if she keeps ripping people off first chance she gets, she will eventually bump into the wrong one. My sole reason for posting this warning is so nobody gets done up like a kipper like me, dont pre-pay this woman under any circumstances because you wont see her for dust.

Yes, she's definitely ducking from you, and probably you're not the only one she's done this with, in which case that makes it much worse. I agree with Strawberry, get the PN mods to look into your story and maybe do a proper warning post on here. Also contact AW, as they would surely be able to see any bookings and emails via their system too. Weird how she'd have the gall to use her previous name and come back to AW like nothings happened. Audacious!

Not ideal as it could get ugly, but like you mentioned - an idea to get a couple of your mates to book her (post-paid), then confront her face to face.

Like i've said before, this is theft as she didn't go through with the booking and never responded to your emails and should be taken seriously by the community.

Good luck mate!

That's awful you should definitely report Her to Adultwork and post a warning.

Also it's pointless even thinking of trying to book her on a friends account and confronting her face to face, if she was asking about hotel security for your bookings who's to say she won't be bringing people?

Save yourself the danger and the bother and just report her because meeting up with her could turn very very nasty and its not worth it.

yeah i decided the face to face thing wasnt worth it so ill just settle for warning potential punters about her.
