Pubic Hair Shaving With A Philips Aquatouch?

23 posts in this topic

Hi,

I'm thinking of buying one of those relatively unexpensive Philips electric shavers with Aquatouch (wet/dry), not the Bodytrim, but the normal shaver.

My beard is almost all grey and shaving it with a blade is too painful.

First question is, how is it as a beard shaver? Is it good enough or do I have to fork out more money (price is in the £60-85 range).

As a wet shaver, could it work as a pubic hair shaver, or would that chainsaw my "precious"?

I use a Philips QS6141/33 Styles Shaver (wet & dry).....for both beard and the ol naughty bits. BUT one does have to be careful downstairs, have knicked myself a couple of times and was quite painful, so I do most with the Phillips and do my more sensitive bits with a hand razor, which feels safer because it's not motorised lol...

Actually speaking of male grooming, anyone recommend a good hair removal cream that's safe to use on the nether regions? I daren't use Veet for men, as it suggests DO NOT USE down there. lol I've heard horror stories too HAHA

I prefer a blade downstairs, especially a ladies razor such as a Venus sensitive.

Also, rather than use shaving soap/foam/shower gel etc it's much easier to dry shave with talcum powder or a proprietary shaving powder and baby smooth.

Another top tip, shave your armpits (if you don't already) for a super fresh feel.

I was considering a male Brazilian waxing last week having grown it for the required 3 weeks but chickened out and shaved instead.

Haven't used a ladies razor, but I do agree with dry shaving which is much easier with pubes as the hair doesn't all get caught up in the wet soapy blades and take ages to wash off and ting. Took a few years to work that one out but I wouldn't do it any other way now. Occasionally I might soap up the finer scrotum hairs for a baby smooth shave but on the top part a dry razor works best. Never felt the need for talc though.

Try a little talc one day, it's an excellent lubricant and gives a fantastic shave :D

I've heard stories of men using Veet with regrettable results.

I always use a Venus but not sure how I'd feel about someone else wielding a razor down there.

That said, your offer sounds very tempting :D

Nair round the base and goolies but beware of sensitive hot spots as it can sting for a couple of days. :(

Baby powder usually sorts it though.

I once did an outcall that involved removing chest, bottom, back and pubic hair from a man with a combination of hair remover (Tescos own brand, it was actually quite good) and a razor.

It took over an hour to get him smooth. One of my more unusual bookings!

I've only used the office scissors for a quick night before trim before seeing a working girl!  Should I start taking this male grooming business seriously!

Thanks for the recommendation, but I am abroad and can buy this dual trimmer/shaver for €70:

http://www.philips.co.uk/c-p/YS534_17/click-style-smartclick-comfortcut-heads-3-in-1-tool

It is also wet/dry. If I use it as a trimmer, would it kill my genitals?

I also have an old Philips trimmer, but that's one that sucks hair away, but it also destroys my private parts.

Bald is a bit extreme but a bit of grooming has to be better for the escort.

A gob full of pubes either way has a habit of interrupting the action. :)

Yes but you could always take the office scissors with you and ask the lady of your choice to style your pubes!!

By the way, I am glad I don't work in your office!! Do you habitually make use of any other office equipment in your sex life? I think your colleagues should be told.
