Yes, good article thanks ..... makes me think I should go back there !

A bit odd that it's all above board and legal over there, yet doesn't appear in the national GDP ?

But here in the UK it's unseen / invisible but seems to have become a significant chunk of GDP

(as good an argument as any for it not to be criminalised any time soon, I think).

This article, published a couple of days ago, shows how the New Zealand Prostitutes’ Collective (NZPC) had a significant impact on prostitution laws, managing to achieve the decriminalisation of sex work in New Zealand. The article examines the key factors for the NZPC's success, given the relative failure, in terms of their impact on prostitution law and policy, of  sex workers’ rights organisations in many other countries.

The same special issue of the journal in which this article appears also has another article of possible interest entitled "Why Prostitution Policy (Usually) Fails and What to Do about It?"

I read this blog and noted that Ms Murphy expects clients to give personal details for vetting purposes. Is this normal practice for agencies?  I've only used independents and have always been able to remain anonymous, I can understand how it benefits the escorts but I would not give ID information myself.
