A small positive step from the US

I seems that ex-President Bush set up a US fund for AID/HIV relief, in principle for poor countries but, in reality, much of it spent on US consultants.

The sums -$25bn so far- are huge but apparently none was given to groups that declined to take a moralistic stance, including condemning prostitution & abortion.

Under a new head, this in now changing and funding will be science and evidence led, not based on morals. Hopefully an early sign of a turning tide?
