Long Hair Or Short Hair?

I have long hair but am tired of it and thinking of getting it cut short. I get the impression that clients prefer escorts with long flowing locks, so would I be committing career suicide by changing it?

I dont think so.  short hair can be quite nice.  look at frankie on strictly just now.

but consider what style carefully. not all may work for you.

(You dont say which hair.  I am assuming head....)

:D

Based on the same assumption, I do prefer wg's with longer hair, anything from shoulder length or longer works for me. Saying that, I don't think I'd decline to see a wg based on the length of her hair. Providing it wasn't completely shaved ;)

I personally like long hair pinned up. Do many ladies like to pin their hair at the start of a meeting?

I love long hair would not see a girl with man like short hair as it would feel like being with a guy with a hole

Most of the time i love seeing a lady with longer locks...but short hair can look fab too, i think the bigger question is whether a lady can pull of the look she aims for as that in itself oozes sexuality!

Having taken the liberty of checking out your web site, Lara, my preference would be for you to continue with the look on the intro page. I fell in lust in 3 seconds!!

Thanks guys (and for the compliment Paul :)). It looks like just a trim for me then or maybe I could shave the lot off and have a variety of wigs ;)

Hmm, OK, it seems it may be safer business-wise not to rush into cutting it (yes, the hair on my head :P) . I was thinking of something along these lines though:

so not a grade 1 :D

Actually Lara a wg I know well used to have very long hair (almost down to her bum) and when I saw her recently she'd had it cut to a similar length as your example, maybe a little longer. It really suited her.

As mentioned above, I doubt a ladies hair length would put a punter off if she met all his other criteria - unless it was something really extreme. Give it a go - it'll soon grow back f you don't like it - or you could go with the wig idea :)

I think you are right a lot of guys like longer hair.  I like both by the way and sometimes I feel it shows a ladies natural beauty when she has short hair.  A reg lady I see has long hair but I like it when she has it up as she is naturally beautiful and doesn't need to hide under hair and lots of  make up.

I think a woman can look great with short hair and am also a real fan of hair that has been pinned up. I think one of the main criteria for me is if it looks cool / fashionable ..... always a plus point in my books, just as dowdy / unfashionable is always a bit of a downer (and that can include really long semi hippy hair). I say, follow your instincts, Lara, do what feels right for your own image, as that will give you the confidence in your self, which is what actually makes someone attractive to others.

Taking about pinned up hair I quite like it when a lady you are with pins her hair up in front of you this can be very sexy indeed!

I think you've hit the nail on the head there Visconti. I'm at that stage where I'm bored of my long hair, so if I'm not careful I'll start feeling unattractive. That will impact negatively on how I project myself, whereas if I had a shorter funkier style I expect to feel younger and rejuvenated or sobbing into my pillow after a bad salon experience. As you say, it'll grow back in about a year!

Pinned up hair can look great. MindTheGap, I bet if you asked a lady if she wouldn't mind putting her hair up for an appointment she'd do it. I know I wouldn't mind. The only thing is, when unpinned, mine doesn't cascade down sexily like in the adverts :D It needs hairspray to stay put but then that's what it'll do when unclipped, LOL. Oh dear, another illusion shattered :P

you mentioned wigs Lara.  why not get a short wig and see how you feel before actually getting your locks hacked.

I am enjoying this forum - never did I think I would be invited to comment on a lady's prospective hair do - I feel weirdly flattered -I have to say and I am no expert you understand but I think the choppy bob haircut looks lovely and for the life of me I couldn't see why such a lovely look wouldn't be good for business - I personally don't have a huge preference on hair type or cut for that matter - short is fine by me just as much as long.

Judging by your pictures you clearly have lovely long flowing hair which I am sure many gentleman like very much indeed - but hey a change can be lovely - sorry I am not that much help am I - I'm a man what do I know!

I think the only sensible reply would be to say you should allow yourself to look the way you feel most comfortable at the time.

If you have it cut short you will find out if it affects trade but it won't take too long to grow it again and you will know what is working for you.

I think a lady comfortable in her own skin - and hair - will ooze a certain amount more confidence and I personally would pick up on that rather than looking for any aspect of appearance to find fault with (within reason!).

Just seen your pics - chopped auburn hair looks great so really do suit yourself - your current and your proposed look should have any normal man drooling...

Long hair is more versatile and can conjure up a variety of 'looks' so I'd stay that way?

Ps. Have just viewed your very tasteful page and details so now say stay exactly as you are. :)

I personally am a fan of long hair and love it when the girl is on top and bends her face down to mine and it feels so sexy when it brushes across my face. I even had a lady dentist who did that!

That said shortish hair would not be a deal-breaker for me. There are so many factors which influence my choice with personality high on my list and looks way down.

Lara, asking such a question here was always going to produce conflicting answers and as you say you’re tired of it. After all, it’s been long 'forever.' It certainly was when I saw you, and that was years ago! So follow your instinct and go for a change. I’ll wager it won’t have any discernable impact on your business and will make you feel great, Visconti is absolutely right on that.

Interestingly, I see none of the ladies here have responded to your question. I'd be interested to hear their views.

I had a young female dentist back in the ‘80s who used to recline the chair and then seat herself such that my head was virtually nestled between her breasts. Most disconcerting!
