Cystitis

12 posts in this topic

An escort I had planned to see cancelled the day before because she had been diagnosed with cystitis by her doc. I have no reason to doubt her authenticity.

Am I correct that cystitis is a common affliction of WGs due to the nature of the job? Should I be concerned about poor hygiene? Should I rearrange to see her?

Well it's an inflammation of the bladder caused by bladder infection, not sure if poor hygeine is a big factor though. I'm no doctor :D

Not sure if it's common of WGs I've never had it and the girls I know in this job have never mentioned such. I think cystitis is common in women in general though.

The last time I had cystitis was when I was pregnant! That was well over 2 decades ago. It was blooming awful too. Must have been if I cringe at the memory after all these years

Google does seem to indicate that poor hygiene can sometimes be the cause of cystitis.

How old is the lady? A friend of mine is going through the menopause at the moment and she's had recurring cystitis for several months now.

There could be a whole lot of reasons why your lady has it. Poor hygiene may not be one of them. I doubt her hygiene would be so poor though. If it were, others would have noticed wouldn't they?

it can be caused by antibiotics upsetting the natural enzymes etc

it can also be caused by lady problems like a prolapse.

natural yoghurt is supposed to be good.  Applied to the sensitive area, not eaten.

I've not had cystitis for almost 20 years, when I did it was awful.

A woman's urethra is very short compared to that of a man, the anus is also in very close proximity and contains bacteria which can multiply once it reaches the bladder, which results in cystitis. This is why it is important to be careful not to use the same finger for both anus and vaginal area, but many men and women do not know this.

Could be anything, I can't remember being particularly unhygienic and never traced it to anything in particular,

should have said. for some women menstruation and the effect on body chemistry can also set it off.

It may be nothing to do with the girl's hygiene - it could very easily caused by a client's dirty fingernails.

It's not a sign of bad hygiene, no - some women are just prone to it. Thankfully I only had it once, as a teen, when I put some cheap perfume in the bath. It can be induced by rough/a lot of sex.

You can buy over-the-counter remedies, but main things are:

1. Always urinate after sex

2. Don't use strongly perfumed/harsh shower gels etc.

3. Drink lots of water

4. Have a glass of cranberry juice a day, and/or take cranberry extract supplements.

If it's persistent, you need to go to GP as could be an underlying condition.

Cystisis is/was referred to as "the honeymoon disease"  because a woman just married and probably having a lot of sex stands a higher chance of getting this awful and painful affliction.

I had it once when I was 20 and it was agony.... made worse because I did not know what the hell it was and did not get medical help for a week... by which time I was almost suicidal.  A quick blast of antibiotics sent it packing thankfully.

A couple of times since then I have thought I felt the onset of it... but managed to nab it by drinking large glasses of water every 15 mins or so...... (the germ can actually be flushed out if caught early enought)

Yes as others said.... it can happen simply by vigorous sex or dirty fingernails probing inside.

I still have to remind some guys that a finger which has been round the back end should not then be used to play at the front..... no matter how clean the lady is.

Bad hygiene should not be blamed for cystitiis... but the op and anyone else can easily find out the facts with a simple google click.

The only time I have had cystitis was from too much nookie with my first boyfriend and from using strong scented shower gels down below (I discovered lemon scented shower gels set me off recently!)So given the shower gel cause..the opposite of bad hygiene!Bit of a presumption there that its because the lady had bad hygiene.Less common but blokes can also get Cystitis would you think its because you were mucky if you got it?

You also get it from holding off from weeing when you need to go.

Cov- Natural yoghurt is for thrush not cystitis and also you take antibiotics for cystitis, but they cause thrush- are you muddled?
