Redx Escorts Listing Me Without Consent. Can't Contact Them To Remove It

6 posts in this topic

Is anyone able to contact them for me please? They've put my (now out of date - I've moved to another part of the country!) details on without my permission. When I go to "contact us" I get the error message "Contact not found". So I registered but was never able to log in to remove my listing. I get the error message "error:Ajax request failed!" Thinking that was because I'd forgotten my password I clicked "forgot your passowrd" but then get the error message "Reset password failed: This user is blocked. If this is an error, please contact an administrator" which of course I can't do! I've tried "reporting" my listing but it asks me to log in!
This is the listing I want removed. I did think maybe to get it moved to my new area but judging by the tetchnical difficulties I've had I think it's best to just get off their site.

I really wish webmasters wouldn't put ladies' details on their directories without consent
TIA for any help.

Lara this has happened to so many of us.  It is rather annoying and more so when they add incorrect or out of date details.

It took me several months to have my profile deleted from one directory and all I can say is keep trying or ...... as long as your phone number is the same as on whatever profile they have placed for you.... just explain to any man ringing you and see how it goes.

You can do a search at whois.domaintools.com to see who registered the web address. There's an email address and phone number (which may or may not be accurate/up to date). Scroll down the results page to find these, and a street address too.

PM me if you can't find the details. Or perhaps the mods will be happy for me to post the details here?

I am on there but I think I did register with them a whole 3 years ago.

I've tried to delete myself this evening, but neither 'delete' or 'contact us' seem to work.

Thanks Mark. I tried that but came up with different details; yours look far more promising so I'll send Mr Redx an email :)

Lynn, yup, that's what I've been doing. Whenever someone calls and thinks I'm in Leominster I always tell them I've moved, give them my website address, and ask them where they foud my details. Most of the time they say RedX or that sodding magazine Wales Midlands and West (who also nicked my details and have "forgotten" to remove me when I asked them to)

Strawberry, if I have any luck in contacting the webmaster I'll forward the details to you.

Yes I emailed the contact from the whois entry and he removed my profile today.

In the meantime someone has put me in a 'Manchester' magazine, which has resulted in six months of men phoning thinking I'm in Manchester. The mag added me without thinking and now it is too late.
