'Restricted Content'

6 posts in this topic

Guys and Gals if someone gets a 'Restricted Content' message when entering an escort website does that mean they have software on their pc/laptop blocking adult content or their internet SP? If so can it be removed?

Would you send details/photos etc to someone in such a situation who had found your phone number but unable to open your website from your link/profile etc as a result of this?

Without the full facts, I would assume that they could well be accessing the website from work or using a work laptop. If that was the case then I would probably be careful about what I sent in an email, as that may well be monitored.

I think that you are right to be cautious, but if the enquirer says it's OK then at least he can't blame you if he breaches the company's Internet Policy.

I asked if it was a work computer.

If on a domain network (more than likely) then only the network manager can remove. In fact, even on a stand-alone client, the user would be unlikely to have 'user permission rights' to remove . :(

The usual scenario, especially with disabled right-click photo galleries such as your own, is that the enquirer has no intention of making a booking, but just wants a few freebie photos.

Might be wrong, but I dont think so...

I have been asked to send photos previously but only because the pics on my site were getting out of date, I obliged and got 1 booking out of 2 who asked in this manner. So ok but it does make one suspicious.

The best ones are those who get round the right-click disabler, send me one of my own photos by SMS or email as if they are being clever. Sorry guys it just makes you look like a bit of a twit and it's rather off-putting.
