11 posts in this topic

I work early and am in bed before night life really gets going. Any suggestion for quality punt in Tower Bridge SE1 area?

I think the first questionis what is early.

I have a reg that tarts at 8. Not in london. But that is rare.

One got another reg to see me at 7 but that was difficult to get her to agree.

Try an aw reverse booking.

Great comment--even though you probably didn't mean it.

'Early' is in the eye of the snooze-button-pusher.

The question is, what is the earliest that croissants may be brought to your door?!

I offer early morning appointments if booked the day before. I'm 5-10min walk from London Bridge or 2min walk from Borough tube station.x

It depends on the quality of croissant, frankly.

One of my favourite ways to start the day in SE1 is to have a very early punt and to follow it with a beer at the Market Porter, then a full English. Needless to say, I'm not much good for anything else on days like that, except perhaps to go and see a day's cricket at the oval!

Quite right, too! Anything dry and mass-produced isn't worth getting out of (into?) bed for.

I'm quite partial to the ones at Monmouth......and their coffee sets them off nicely.

I am surprised no one mentioned the thread on a similar theme from last year.
