Kicked Off Aw But No Reason Why

50 posts in this topic

My profile Chanel-glitters was deactivated by adultwork recently so I made a new one , cherry Coventry . But this has gone the same way! I can't log in but they haven't contacted me. I'm presuming 'Fred Higgins' on here never got his message from me with my number. Same number anyway. Has anyone got a clue what I can do?

You wouldn't believe how many times I have heard the same story, with minor variations. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be anything you can do. I know it is frustrating.. nobody deserves to be treated in such an unprofessional and discourteous manner.

For the record, there are only two things that are guaranteed to get a service provider banned from PN:

Writing or soliciting fake reviews;

Publishing photos not of the person being advertised.

Judging by the recent increase in new Service Provider profiles here, a lot of people are getting fed up.

Hi Dollyann, agree with G above.

If AW deactivated you they would have sent an email to you 48 hours before action is taken, this will be sent to the email account you used to set up your AW profile, you will not get a copy my visiting your profile mail box so it is easy to miss and hence the deactivation. The email will list a number of reasons that they taking action for, anything from a complaint about the ownership of the pictures too sending your phone number via AW mail......if your account did not receive an email then it should be easy just to click your re-activate button and you will receive a fresh code.

Creating a second or multiple AW profile will also get you deleted!. they have ways of finding out................

99.99% of all new profiles will require passport or driving license verification, profile will show a red alert warning message, you will receive a emall giving you 48 hours to respond then the profile goes.

as G says,  very "unprofessional and discourteous manner"  their help section is designed to evade and avoid customer contact. they ran a slack ship for so long and ignored the fact that punters were being ripped off with fake profiles.

PN profiles are safe and reliable!

I was deactivated one, you just need to click the reactivation button. Once reactivated as soon a you are in your profile a page should come up with an email telling you the aproximate issue. If its a rule break you will have to hunt through the rules and your profile to work it out for yourself. If you are lucky enough to work it out then they wont deactivate you again but I find it hard to think they wouldnt email you as everytime there has been an issue they have emailed either to email address or within the site even if the email isnt really any help at all

Jkay and G are correct, this site is much better for advertising and you get available today function included in your monthly fee...not at a fiver a day

My guess would be someone reported your profile for something? can you recall falling out with any odd clients?

Something to remember is that when setting up a profile, the email account you choose to use may have a limited life, some if you don't log in say once every two months it will go into hibernation, then when AW tries to send a notification and it bounces back then your profile will be deactivated without any warning, in this case all you do is set up a fresh email account and then press the re-activate button and enter new contact details.

If someone has reported your pictures for what ever reason the only way is to become verified, if you has a UK passport its easy and will be sorted in just a few minutes during office hours, if non UK passport then they also  want proof of residency and be made to jump through hoops and stuff and can take several days to complete.

Log into your email account that you set the profile up with, then open up the AW log in page, enter your name and password plus the capture code then click the re-activate button and see what happens, you should get a email message.

you could try not sending your phone number via AW mail, its in the terms and conditions of your profile, but they will issue a warning.

Think one of the more sleazy aspects of AWK is that they kick girls off and confiscate their uncashed earnings.

Think one of the more sleazy aspects of AWK is that they kick girls off and confiscate their uncashed earnings.

Due to the number of complaints of fake profiles made by punters, they have little choice but to act, you have credits in your account and you receive the 48 hour to respond email and you fail to act your account will be de-activated, but it is not gone for good and your credits are still there to be claimed. to get your profile re-activated just follow the instruction on the email and also rectify any terms and conditions you may have had problems with...........

Just some of the reasons profiles get de-activated;

AW believe your photos are stolen.

A punter or WG has complained that your photos are stolen.

Wording in your heading or profile contravenes terms and conditions.

Miss-use of the AW mail system, sending punters your phone number or website address.

Transferring credits between profiles by buying private gallery pictures from other WGs.

Creating multiple profiles.

Logging into other profiles using same IP address.

the list goes on........

There is always a reason for deactivation and everyone thinks they have been treated unfairly and are blinkered and don't follow the instruction on the warning email, even if your profile gets deleted in error be it human or technical the profile will be returned, if during office hours its pretty rapid.

Rule number one, read up on the rules.

Rule two, login to your email account each day that you set up your profile with, reading your mail via the AW page is not enough.

The big killer is not maintaining the email address on your profile.

It is encouraging that JKay is so positive about AW - in effect saying that they have a substantive reason for acting in such a way as can be understood and giving the opportunity to correct an error.

He has had a lot to do with the workings of AW (tho not part of the company, I'm sure) and so is well ahead of most of us and should be paid heed to.

I recall looking at the AW forum and seeing so many escorts shrieking about losing their source of income.

I had/have every sympathy for them when often the only response would be check the rules when it would be so much more helpful if AW said which rule was being breached.

I am only on the periphery of AW's workings in the sense that SPs sometimes ask about things and I for one am at a loss to know if having explicit pictures in the public gallery will bring about deactivation or not. I hear that some profiles went while i know that some haven't even after all this time. That is just messy for the people who make AW its money.

It seems to me a necessity therefore for SPs to spread the risk by using other sites such is Punternet's own directory of course and Birchplace, Backpage etc or at least having all the details written and ready to copy and paste into place if AW deactivates their profile.

its illegal in many countries to have pornographic images without age verification.

public galleries can be viewed with no age verification.

private galleries are different as you have to buy credits.  Now there are plastic card options which is a sort of age verification, but other payment methods used by AW certainly are not age verifications.

have you noticed if you go into aw not signed in the thumbnails of the streaming porn is pixelated. sign in and you can see the images.

All I hear about AW is how much they charge escorts for shit all the time. Display phone number, messaging, this that and another. Seriously, my only experience with AW was getting a £50 free voucher and it only managed to get me the worse sex toy on the market which my cock couldnt even fit into. They charge double for almost every product from their shops. Phoning up girls on their are either fucked in the head, scammers or dont want to see someone with no feedback. Screw AW, its as bad as adult friend finde5r and the rest of those similar scam sites. The cam models on there would make a lot more money on MyFreeCams or Chaturbate, dunno why they use it.

Just guessing but surely monitored with tech process not read - same with website addresses.

I would therefore have thought your ruse might work ...

I didn't know this was an issue, most of the girls I've seen who don't display their number will email it when a booking is made.

That doesn't chime with my, very limited, experience. Yes, there are some lousy escorts there, but if you look carefully you will see that many of the escorts who post here are also on AW. I'm sure that you didn't intend to include all of them in your description

Not clear to me at first - the post you quote and the part you highlight are about AW but then you say many of the girls are also on AW.

I suppose you mean 'here' as in the Pnet forum.

I would certainly agree that a lot of escorts on AW are  absolutely genuine and give a good service but it is also true that the scene has become clouded by scams and apparently pimped women who give the poor service you might anticipate from their unhappy situation.

Over the years since I first discovered AW, i have still to be bait and switched, robbed, threatened or not provided the service I expected (other than perhaps not as full on as expected) - the main exception being anal advertised and not actually on offer (which could be because I go for half hour punts).

Nor mine. I've only ever really used AW, and every wg I've booked has (or had) a profile on there. The scams / time wasters are pretty easy to spot from the genuine profiles IMO.

Yes but only after some pretty intensive training, i think, so you start to spot the indicators.

i still recall realising I had no idea what i was looking at and should be looking for so then I was lucky I picked on a classic woman next door just dipping into sex work to get some money together for a (rented) house move.

Now of course there is so much help from comments on this forum that act as an intensive learning course.

Also having trouble, first was told they wanted a profile picture to check my passport against then that a passport was no longer sufficient they want a second form of ID waiting to hear back but getting fed up with it tbh x

Is the profile new or one that's been running for some time? if its old profile it sounds like they believe your pictures to be fake.

If you send passport then use a scanner to up load it, don't crop it in any way or reduce the size, two other forms of ID that are accepted are a full UK driving licence and also an Identity card, I forget the name of the issuer but AW tell you which one.

If you have a full uk passport but the place of birth listed is none uk, then you will have to jump through more hoops.

If I charged a Tenner each time I acted for a AW client I could have a very nice weekly punting fund!

I spend up to 4 hours a day studying AW for various reasons, I hate it with a passion but I have a lot of friends who rely on it so I try to learn as much as I can, like following new member patterns and posting styles, up and coming areas and such like. One thing they need to do is move everything that's not prostitution away from AW or move it to a different page, just keep it for ladies selling sex, no more selling movies, webcaming, phone chat. Feedback should be made for selling sex, not any other products.

Perhaps if you tried cross referencing the ladies you liked the look of on aw with other sites, google reverse image the pictures, check review sites both national and local then you may not come a cropper so badly . All the indies I have known are on aw and lots of parlour girls too (either in a group or as indie elsewhere) and whereas I may pray that one day a few of them suffer slow internal combustion I have to admit that none of them are druggies, scammers, bait and switch or grubby
