Cancellations

21 posts in this topic

Following on from the "revenge" thread and something Lord Melchett mentioned on...

Booked a girl I'd seen quite a few times, met her at hotel, paid her fee only for her then to say she didn't feel like having sex as it had been a long day for her so I'd have to be content with oral, no refunds.

Did I ever consider getting revenge? Nope, never crossed my mind. Just never booked her again.

Something along similar lines happened to me but with a different outcome. I'd booked the hotel, the girl I'd seen quite a few times text about 2 hours before the meet saying she'd had a really bad day, felt like shit and as she didn't feel she could be up to her usual standard she was sorry but would have to cancel. She also said she'd reimburse the cost of the hotel.

I was actually on my way to the hotel when I received her text so was naturally pissed off but when I'd calmed down a bit I considered what options she'd had...

1. Say nothing, turn off her phone and not turn up at all

2. Turn up, take the money, and give a substandard performance (as per LM's post)

3. Turn up, grin and bear it, while really not wanting to be there

4. Do what she did...

After thinking it through I decided what she did was the best out of a bad lot. Option 1 & 2 would definitely have resulted in me not seeing her again and probably posting a bad review.

Option 3 is something I personally wouldn't want, and if not feeling 100% she still ran the risk of not being up to her usual high standards

Option 4 was very frustrating at the time for me, and she still potentially risked bad feedback, losing a regular client, and being subjected to a revenge attack ()

I did rebook and the first thing she did (after she'd snogged my face off) was offer to reimburse the hotel when we met. The snogging obviously worked to some extent as I went halves on the hotel!

Let's assume she is a genuine wg who generally enjoys her job - did she have any other options? What would you have done, WG or punter?

the few times I have had to I have hated cancelling. They have been for other reasons than not being up to par but when I have felt tired and fed up I have still gone ahead with the booking. I feel I gave a good service despite not feeling up to it but then I don't work my self too hard any way, so may be some ladies are even more worn out and frazzled than I have ever felt. If I felt I absolutely couldn't go through with another one I would do as your lady did. In fact last week I had to cancel at short notice because a family member needed me and I have been I touch with him offering a discount and I have done that once before in the past.

Not involving an outcall to a hotel, but I have received a text after I had parked up and just before I was about to phone to say that I'd arrived.  It is frustrating, annoying etc. but she texted me again the next day apologising and offering a discount on a future meeting.  We had never met before.  I did see her a couple of times after that and would have seen her more except she was based in an area that I rarely visit.

I think reactions to disappointments tend to be a reflection of the personalities concerned, both the punter and the WG.  Seeking revenge is imo a pretty childish response and reflects poorly on the person seeking revenge.

I rarely if ever have to cancel and for me I'd have to be I'm a car crash or breakdown to not attend. l. Much of the time the client is already staying the area for other reasons, so a hotel cost refund would not I feel be on the cards.

I have heard of clients booking a hotel specifically for a booking, then being let down which must be really annoying.

Regards feeling tired, that I feel is up to the provider to manage. It's self care and I have turned down bookings for which timings would mean not enough rest, sleep and time to do things I enjoy I'm my day to day life.

I have had to cancel people a few times, if I have come over feeling really ill then the last thing I want to do is throw up on a client or possibly have to halt half way through if I start to feel even worse. This has not ways been appreciated and earned me a slagging off see here and even had my escorting skills questioned when Xally O was doing was what I thought was the best course of action at the time. I've also had to cancel in the past if I had child issues which again have not gone down well even with a member of this forum and even though I actually had to stop weekend bookings for a while at the time. I find that some guys think we should be accepting of their cancellations whilst forgetting we too are ham and have life issues that can unexpectedly surface .

None of those guys had booked hotels though. I don't accept late night bookings as I know very well from past experience that I can come over very tired quite quickly and no one wants a woman yawning her way through their booking lol

I'm one of those people who try to fix problems or ignores requests for assistance, I get focussed and sometimes it's useful, sometimes it only drives me into the ground.

I think she did the best she could under unforeseeable bad circumstances. Unfortunately, life gets in the way of other things sometimes. Meetings get moved, appointments rescheduled, punts ....re-punted! I have had my own doctor have to cancel on me before because she had another patient go into delivery on her! Sometimes, these things happen, and the best you can really do is try and roll with the punches and deal with the disappointment.

I have personally only had to cancel last minute once, and it was because I had food poisoning! I'm pretty sure the punter wouldn't have been happy to see me like that....

Burty! Dude, you did the right thing and it all turned out well in the end. (Good karma, perhaps?) :)

I've never had a cancellation on a hotel outcall booking, luckily. But I did once book a local indie escort to the area, who did turn up on time and was very polite She was quite a beautiful Indian escort, but it turns out we never clicked.

Half way through, I lost my mojo and in turn my hard on. Everything with her was just a drag, making excuses for not doing certain positions - which were simply vanilla! She only wanted to do Missionary, which added to all other restrictions like only OW (which i resolved to accept over the phone). Anyway, I just got fed up asked her to leave early, & even didn't bother asking for any money back either.

After a shower, I resisted the urge to have a 'self love' moment to resolve my frustrations ;) Instead I called a local parlour I'd been frequenting, who's receptionist I knew well and trusted. Her girls did outcalls too, so paid for another hour with one of her Asian girls, a lovely, friendly and chatty Thai lady.

What a difference! I must have fucked her all around the room that hour, ending in her savouring my load happily! We simply clicked and had a laugh together for the whole time.

Ok, I paid twice, that evening, but I wish I'd given the other hour to my Thai lady from the start! OH well. We can't linger on these things.

Not sure if I left a negative review with the other lady, but I doubt it, as my evening ended in a happy mood. lol

Addendum: I must add, I've had plenty of other amazing experiences with other gorgeous Indian ladies (my personal fav type btw), but this particular one was simply not into her job and more like a frigid ice queen. lol

Yes, I've had to cancel before- not often but it does happen. This isn''t a job where you can drag yourself into the office, do the minimal and go home early. If I see a client I want to be on top form, sometimes you can fake that but if you've got a streaming cold it's pretty impossible to hide and not terribly nice for a client!

I've also cancelled because I had no water one day- there was no way I wasn't going to shower ahead of a booking or not be able to allow the client to wash too.

If a client doesn't believe me if I cancel for a genuine reason and never books again so be it, but that thread about revenge made me feel cold. This job can be scary enough sometimes without having to read how some men have revenge on their minds.

You were possibly more understanding than I would have been. I had the advantage of having seen the wg I mentioned before, so knew she hadn't been a timewaster in the past. Had it been with a wg I'd not met before I'm not sure whether I'd have booked again.

My thoughts exactly. It had never really occurred to me that someone would go so far as to enact revenge before reading that other thread....

Not the greatest thought in the world. :(

I'm quite proud of the fact I've never cancelled a booking - yet! No doubt it'll happen at some point. The wg concerned knew I booked hotels purely to meet her, hence the offer to reimburse my loss.

There was a little more to it than feeling tired - which I found out later but didn't know at the time. Saying that, some of what happened was her responsibility for which she admitted she made a mistake. Up to that point I had a zero tolerance policy as regards being cancelled on - in that I wouldn't see that girl again but this occasion made me realise sometimes things happen that you can't always account for beforehand.

I think I've only cancelled twice in my escorting career. Both were due to illness but I gave at least an hours notice and offered a small discount if they rebooked.

Burty, I'd have done something 'similar' along the lines of what you did.  I can understand that you were pissed off @ the time.  I do think the girl you mentioned made the right choice to cancel the booking though.  She said she had a bad day, felt like shit, and she openly 'admitted' to you she couldn't perform to her high standard.  I think she was 'nice' enough to save you from a crap punt.  And I really like the way she offered to reimburse you for the hotel cost too.

And when you did rebook, well, the results speak for themselves ;)

I've never had anyone cancel a booking yet, but I always have some sort of back up plan just in case she can't make it.  There's always girls I fancy @ my favourite agencies available on the day.

Looking back it was pretty much from that point that we started keeping a little bit more in contact between bookings, which has continued through to now even though she isn't working - so maybe a little good karma as EGM mentioned earlier.

I eventually came round to your way of thinking that she did possibly save if not a crap punt then a below par one. I'll admit it took me a while to cool off though and I'm just glad I didn't say something I'd have regretted later.

Back up plans are something I've never bothered with, as I'm usually wanting to see a specific wg. I'm not sure a plan B would work for me, so if plan A goes tits up it's no punt until the next opportunity. One way of saving punting pennies I suppose :)

Last time i got cancelled on was because the lady wasn't feeling well.In life that happens so i don't see why people get upset about such things.Seeing as i'd booked the day off work i went and had cake instead.

I had to cancel my bookings yesterday, as when I woke up I'd discovered my hall way had flooded because of the boiler.  I rang the landlord, but it meant I had to stay at home until a guy turned up and fixed it.  All I could think about was that it seemed like a crappy excuse and whether those clients would give me another chance.

Sometimes these things happen, just like when a guy rings me up and says he's unable to make it because something has cropped up or happened.  It can't be helped and I appreciate it if someone is able to let me know as soon as they are unable to make their booking, just like I hope they appreciate me sending them a discreet text if I am unable to make the booking.

It is frustrating when there are no shows and TW's but, they get blocked and I move on.

The only time I've had to cancel at short notice was when I'd arranged a booking after finishing an early shift and rushed home to change and freshen up. Whilst on my way home I hit a nasty pothole and got a flat tyre as a result. Anyway I called the escort which went straight to voicemail, left a somewhat panicky voicemail then got a text back cancelling the meeting due to unforeseen circumstances, never rebooked. These days I arrange bookings on a day off so I'm not rushing.

Been cancelled on late once myself as the girl was unable to get to her incall flat due to bad weather. Had lots of snowfall in the area at the time. Booking rearranged for a week later and had a great meeting.

Although its understandable that you were a bit annoyed, I admire the woman for her honesty. The fact she was honest with you shows she respects you as a client.

When I used to share apartments with escorts & they were double booking clients, some of the excuses they would come up with was absolutely mental. I doubt the clients believed them as they really were far fetched.
