Musings On Viagra

29 posts in this topic

After an attack of the Mr. Floppies I tried via grateful and it got me wondering. Is it a recreational drug for instance? For the guys, do you rediscover the joy of hard ons, the inconvenient bones? I get tempted to take one for a maturation session to recapture the youthful magnificence. Do you become ravenous for fucking? Are the headaches worth the joy? (For some odd reason I get toothache in every single tooth!) For the women, is it a shock? Here is your nice old client with his semi hard dick and suddenly a full on election explodes from his pants. Are you shocked or delighted? When a chap with a flushed face and headaches arrives at the door, are you dreading the session or jumping with joy? All this may have been asked before but I feel like a kid in a sweetshop.

Are we talking about a landslide or a (well) hung parliament?

I find Cialis works well for me.  I got to an age when rubber insulated sex didn't let me maintain an erection for long.  The only disadvantage is the red face and slight indigestion for a couple of days after.  I tend to put during the day and on days when my wife is out in the evening to avoid my ruddy complexion exciting comment.  Set against these little inconveniences is the joy of a rock hard erection for the duration of my punt.  I had a session earlier this week with a early 20s French girl (Elise) at IK Services in Leeds and although I am nearly 60 was able to give her the full benifit of my attention before splashing her face as though I were a 19 year old; brilliant - thank you Cialis!

Did you get your Viagra from a medical prescription or via a more informal route? The symptoms you describe seem to have some similarities to that of angina, possibly due to elevated blood pressure etc. brought on by taking the Viagra.

My advice would be to at least get your blood pressure checked.  Getting your own bp monitor is inexpensive these days, that way you could also assess the effect of taking Viagra.

In my experience clients on Viagra can be hard work. It often makes them unable to cum, which is fine because that's what I am paid to do, but it can be frustrating and make my arm ache/pussy sore and isn't that much fun. Again, fine, it's not about me but I would be less likely to agree to see someone again who was like this.

Although if a reg was getting the Mr Floppies and wanted to experiment and told me I'd probably be happy to do this.

It's just strangers with no interest in me and wanting to have his hard on pumped away at for 2 hours and having to listen to him whinging in frustration (and implying it's my fault)  isn't my idea of fun and I'm a lucky bunny because I can pick and choose who I see! :)

I e tried the generic brand a couple of times and works for me as the rubber tends to deflate things and I'm in my 30's cumming isn't a problem even twice but the next day is an issue when I struggle to get it up!! I get the headache too. I've read other posts warning of recreational use so I only use sparingly.

..how does Viagra work?  How many do you take?  Sorry for sounding ignorant but how does it work in terms of the hard-on - like does it work straight away and can it get so hard that it doesn't come down?  What are the side effects?

Does a doctor have to prescribe it?  Do you inform the lady that you have taken it?  I am just interested hope the questions aren't to personal! :)

How does Viagra work?

- It relaxes the blood vessels and promotes blood flow.

How many do you take?

- Read the instructions. Then experiment with dosage, timing, meals, alchol intake / avoidance etc.

Does it work straight away?

- There are graphs available on internet that show blood concentration over time for the average male. Best to experiement and find what is best for you. 1 hour to 2hours before sex is 'typical'.

- Cialis see: http://www.shibuya3clinic4men.com/e_column31.html

- Levitra see: http://www.shibuya3clinic4men.com/e_column33.html

Can it get so hard that it doesn't come down?

- It really shouldn't do! Unless you overdose.

What are the side effects?

- Usually nothing. Sometimes: facial flushing. Sometimes headache. Sometimes a stuffy nose. Sometimes an upset stomach.

Does a doctor have to prescribe it?

- Yes, but you don't have to have a face to face consultation. You can use any number of on-line doctors who will perscribe and despatch. If you need a 'cover story' give them a story about suffering from high cholesterol and high/raised blood pressure. Having unreliable erections. Having lost confidence in your erections. Lloyds Pharmacy Online is reliable and straightforward.

Do you inform the lady that you have taken it?

- No. Although she may have her suspicions!

I am just interested hope the questions aren't too personal!

- Not too personal at all. If the answers help another man - all well and good.

Just realised my new phone has a bad case of predictive text. Apologies. The pills I am taking are on a legitimate prescription and a legitimate pharmacy so I presume the side effects are legit too. Thanks for explaining about the toothache thingy.

Pickle answered your questions in detail but I wanted to add a couple of things to his replies, which are related to 'myths' about Viagra.

Firstly, the idea that it gives you an uncontrollable erection or a super-erection- the important thing to say here is that you still have to become aroused for it to work. If you do not feel sexually aroused, the effects of Viagra will not be spectacular- obviously it's easier to keep and maintain your erection the higher the dosage you take. And clearly your proneness to having an erection will last longer. But to be honest, if you do have a constant rock-hard erection for hours you are either a) thinking too many sexy thoughts  b )  taking too high a dosage than you need or c) don't really need Viagra at all.

It's not an 'enhancer' or a 'boost', the best way to think of it is a drug to help your sexual function be normal. Anyone taking it for different reasons is abusing it, and to be honest it's unnecessary. It's a medical treatment and not 'recreational', take it when you don't actually need it and to be honest you won't get anything from it, your experience will be just uncomfortable.

One of the things I should have said - but didn't - under side-effects is the whole area of ease of achieving orgasm.

Many men report having difficulty in achieving orgasm when using ED drugs.

An explanation of this - and how to overcome it - requires an understanding of the male arousal and orgasm process and how the ED drugs can confuse the male brain.

Basically your brain creates dopamine in response to pleasure - and you get an erection. Only when the dopamine level crosses a threshold will your brain allow your body to have an orgasm. Taking ED drugs allows you to have an erection earlier in the process than you would enjoy normally without ED drugs. This can lead you to think that you are ready for sex and so commence intercourse. But, this signal can be a false signal because the middle aged male doesn't produce dompamine as quickly as the younger male brain. So, on ED drugs there is a risk that you achieve an erection quickly, start intercourse too quickly, and end up hard for a _long_ time. Why is this a problem? Well.you may not be as fit as you used to be - and get hot and sweaty! And your member may get over-stimulated and you can actually loose sensitivity - and you may feel like you are never going to come. Or, you might find that your partner gets sore and fed up!

So, if you are taking ED drugs be sure to take your time - especially when we are talking about orgasm #2 or orgasm #3. You need to give your body time to create suffiicient dopamine to cross that threshold. So, if you do experience such problems you need to slow down - and spend sufficient time on foreplay and coreplay before commencing intercourse.

Try Asda.

You have a brief consultation with the pharmacist and once that's over you part with the cash and walk out with the pills.

The Lloyds Pharmacy website enquires whether you are happy to have your precription passed to your GP - just say 'No'

Why pay through the nose for brand names like Viagra when Kamagra contains the same active ingredient (Sildenafil 100mg), at a fraction of the cost? Ajanta Pharma are FDA approved.

It's easy to obtain Kamagra online without a prescription. After all, it's a non-controlled drug.

Buy a generic brand as cheap as possible - I wasted £80 on 4 viagra pills and after a half pill nearly gave me a heart attack I had to dump the rest. an expensive experiment

I dont have any issues anyway - I just was curious

There may be more serious issues causing ED and, although we don't like to think about these, usually the earlier they are detected the better. So go to see your GP and don't try to bypass the established procedures that are there for very good reasons.

I was very reluctant to talk to my GP about this, but when I did he was very non-judgemental and asked me about my general health, sleep, alchohol etc. He then prescribed a small dose of Viagra, which cost less than £2 per tablet. He recommended I start by taking half a tablet - which worked very well indeed and produced few side effects. He also arranged a blood test for me, which checked for a whole list of possible underlying issues, before prescribing more tablets.

So from my experience, forget on-line, forget under the counter, go and talk to your doctor.

Like most people, I cut these pills in half (some people even quarter them). So a word of warning about Levitra (don't know if it applies to the others as well): it's also available in a form which you allow to dissolve in your mouth, which means you can't cut them. Packet seems exactly the same unless you inspect it closely. Twice I've been caught out now.
