simple question

If I send an email  to someone , say on yahoo.co.uk, can the recipient discover my IP address from which the email message was sent ?

The only way to be certain is to use the same method to send an email to yourself and examine its headers to see whether it has your computer's IP address or just the mail server's.

You are blinding me with science there. I presume an email from me must be the same for practically all users. In any event, it is very tech savvy people that I am concerned about , not your average email user.
