Trafficking prosecutions rise following new laws

1 post in this topic

It's good to see that last year's Modern Slavery Act, which seeks to target trafficking and human slavery in direct and specific ways, is already delivering concrete results. So much better to invest in going after the traffickers and slave traders directly than trying to address the issue by outlawing paid sexual activity in private between consenting individuals.

Interesting to note that the figures suggest that victims forced into jobs as labourers or domestic workers exceed those who are sexually exploited.
