Ridiculous profiles

23 posts in this topic

I have just read the profile of an escort who says she "has stale", before that one who offers "sallow and Frunch kissing".  I know my fingers can slip on the keyboard, but I'm not advertising my services.lSome proof reading in order?

What does she offer that is stale? What is provided that is sallow?

I know, it should be style, French kissing and swallow.

Any badly written profiles that annoy you?

Can't say I've been annoyed but I've just had a great idea for a humourous thread in the Social Club board.

I'm a bit slow this morning ... still trying to work out "stale" (it'll probably dawn on me in about three hours)... but the others made me LOL

I blame false fingernails, I used to bite mine atrociously, but I could type really fast and incredibly accurately (even working in a medical/scientific environment) and then I discovered acrylic nails, and now I can't type for toffee.

What gets my goat is when someone retweets me and hashtags it with mis-spellings. What is the point?

I have acrylic nails purely to protect my fast growing but very weak nails, yet I always check my spelling.  I still type very fast as I don't like my acrylic very long, just elegant and within acceptable typing lengths......... I don't have to prove anything or show off to people that I have acrylic.  'Good luck to the others' I always say though.

Im guessing she is trying badly to say that she has style and offers swallow and french kissing. Cant say spelling that bad is very stylish though (says her who has grammatical fuck ups on her profile)

Personally I try and make sure my website and profile are free from typos and bad grammar, but then I do that in anything I write and being educated and articulate is part of my brand, I expect some men don't give a toss about badly written profile because the woman appeals in other ways or matches what he wants in age, price, services and location.

It's also worth considering her first language may not be English.

On the flip side I am hugely turned off by clients who write to me in text speak or with terrible spelling and grammar. Seriously, an incorrect apostrophe can make me turn down a booking on some days!

"Dire missy lido, i so much want the booking wit u. I luv that you are the tickly cat woman. I 2 am clever, I diggory man. Can we make the pishon?"

Or "Dear MinxyLydia, I would like to book you for a night of passion. I admire articulate women."

I might be interested if I knew what it was.  I've looked on the Urban Dictionary but nothing.

I am utter rubbish with grammar and all that goes with it, I kept my website as basic as I could but even after i'd finished it I still spent a decade ( slight exageration) trying to get it to read proper like (and failed)

Thankfully a kind gent who frequents this board offered an amount of help with some of the content, grammar/punktewayshun etc, the result being an amount of order over that chaos that it was;

It's text speak that drives me round the station hairpin, I'm either old, old fashioned or a snob (probably all of them) but I find it altogether nauseating.

I'm the same Emily, a forum I'm a member of now has a section shortened availability to 'avail'. I cringe at emails and texts asking Ru avail. Also seen another Escort post her 'avail' on different forum.

Ah well, suppose I can just keep typing the way I like to!

Yep, just as you are is peachy.

Currently trending in my 'lazy' folder are three from the same source,

Mail 1 'hru'  which I assume is 'How Are You,

Mail2 'wuup2'  which I reckon translates as 'what you up to?

Eventually I gave the reply 'ftbiycbatupeticbatay'  (fine thanks but if you cannot be arsed to use proper english then i cannot be arsed to answer you'    came in at

Mail3 'bye'

I won! :D

You do that.  Well written English is always nice to read.

But while we are on the subject, can I also flag up the habit of saying 'lol' in a bored voice?  What is that all about?

One is tempted to ask "Just how may profiles do you have? And, are they consistent?"

I get very cross with differing profiles for the same person giving different information

wow, well why dont you go and google them all and then get back to me and let me know. If you think girls only have a profile on ONE SINGLE advertising site then you are sadly misinformed, most of us advertise in many places. Im sure there are old profiles that Ive forgotten existed from years ago on random obscure advertising sites that I forget exist as I no longer have my old website so lost the links when I stopped working for a few years. I dont have my old number anymore but all it would take a guy is to engage brain and put fingers into action via google to find my current up to date ones, is that hard ?

One is very tempted to wonder why you even care, I get very cross when men try to pull us up over our profiles, you deal with your business life and leave us to deal with ours thankyou VERY much

I try to keep them as up to date as possible but hey, go and sue me if one has slipped through the net.

I googled it and nothing came up! If it's an Adultwork name I think we need the profile number to find.

The trouble with this statement is that your profiles are our business since we use them to make decisions on whether to visit you. Crap profiles mean fewer visits from me!
