Making yourself feel better??

30 posts in this topic

I noticed a thread on here regarding 'other jobs'.

Im sure that a large majority of WG's do have day jobs, but I have met many girls who only escort.

Could it be that many WG's lie and say they have a day job to make themselves feel happier?

No.

:)

I would like to get a proper job again one day but would not feel the need to explain myself to make me feel better.

I have absolutely nothing I need to feel better about. In fact, escorting has boosted my self-esteem.

To all who think they know how we feel - you haven't a clue. Don't put yourself in my shoes, don't imagine how awful it must be, and don't ever, ever, feel sorry for me because I'm a hooker - it was an informed, thought-out choice, and I have no regrets.

I remember a parlour girl telling me that she only worked on Sunday because she worked in an office Monday to Friday ---------- I phoned up one Wednesday and miss "office girl" was working, that is why if they tell me the time of day I would ask for a second opinion. :)

She may have been give a day's annual leave from the office and chose to work in parlour. Does not make her a liar. Why do you diss WGs???

I haven't worked as an escort for nearly two years, and can assure you that if I didn't have a job I wouldn't be able to support myself - nor can I afford a 'hole' in my CV. Actually, the company I work for is one that a few of you might be more than familiar with, and there are a few trusted souls in the punting community who would vouch for my role. So stick that in yer pipe and smoke it :) :)

Ok, I think I set the question out wrong, let me try to re word what I was trying to ask.

Most Wg's have other jobs, but for those who don't, do you feel like you have to invent a day job, not only as a cover story, but also to 'ground' yourself spiritually / mentally?

Just curious because I had a rather interesting conversation recently with a Wg regarding this.

Better than what?

Presumably better than they currently feel. I think the OP's premise is that they are mostly less than comfortable with their work due to feelings of guilt.

Claire, good for you and well done.

I have been punting on and off for quite a few years.

Most independent escorts have made a choice.

My thoughts are those who feel they have no choice and work in seedy parlours or on the street.

Often they have other issues as well.

Or those who have been trafficked. The number of oriental/Chinese and Eastern Europeans working these days does make me wonder how many of them have been trafficked.

The current recession has not helped either, or student loans it seems.

From personal experience escorts want to be there for the most part. Those in parlours are less so.

But I have found gems in a couple of unexpected locations.

I'm reminded of an occasion where I came across a girl I'd met on several previous occasions through work - advertising on the other site. Nowt wrong with that of course.

What was remarkable was after our work business was concluded, and well before finding her on **, I had rung her at work and asked her out for a coffee. The strength of her rebuff was astonishing.

"I couldn't possibly, that's out of the question. I can't believe you've had the nerve to ask me..." and on and on ad infinitum.

Usually a girl will reject an invitation by saying she's got a partner, isn't interested or whatever. No problem. Anyone would have thought I'd suggested bareback sodomy on a plinth in Trafalgar Square.

It amused me no end to see her overpriced profile on the other site where she describes herself as a corporate gal. It still makes me laugh.

Lol. Well it didn't happen quite like that did it Tash? The fact that you have raised the issue on a thread where it has no obvious relevance suggests you still haven't forgotten about it and moved on.

If you'd like to discuss it via PMs my mail box is open.

Why should either party need to justify themselves? Neither the buyer or the seller are morally superior in my eyes.

Exactly so!

Maybe that's what she was holding out for? You never know with some people.

Some chaps seem to like to think WGs are in it for a bit of extra fun, that they are secret nymphomaniacs. It feeds some of their fantasies when in reality it tends to be sexy women who know what they are doing and enjoy the financial rewards too.
