Sci Fi Babes.

27 posts in this topic

We've had Olympic and Athletic totti, so I thought why not have something from one of my interests, Sci Fi. After all no production is complete without a bit of eye candy.

Movies,

A bit of a stretch, but Fay Wray in the original King Kong.

Barbarella.

Matrix - Trinity

X Men - Phoenix, Storm, Rogue, Mystique.

Mad Max franchise, especially the latest. Can't remember names.

Blade Runner, again can't remember names.

TV,

Star Trek - Uhura, Deana Troi, Beverly Crusher, 7 Of 9, T'Pol.

Firefly - Zoe, Inara, Jewel, Summer.

Just a few off the top of my head, there are probably hundreds ?

I will always have a soft spot for Barbarella - I first saw her in an "adult" cinema in Great Windmill Street as it was considered soft-porn in those days and was not put out on general release - dirty old men really did go to the cinema for a wank undercover of a raincoat!

I was only 16 at the time and I used to ride up to Soho on my motorbike to play the pinball machines in Wardour Street. Barberella was the first sexual fantasy that I can remember and I still think that it's a great movie!

As I write this I realise that my next favourite was very much in the same mould - Pris from Bladerunner. What a body, but she ( Daryl Hannah) completely blew it in every other film by opening her gob.

Another one that I had a thing about for quite a while waChiana (Gigi Edgley) from Farscape. I love slightly quirky girls - is it any wonder that Thai girl Yumi is one of my current favourites?

I am fascinated by Seven-of-Nine on Star Trek Voyager, which I tend to watch at 01:00am most nights, but she just seems a bit "Romanian" to me.....

Let's not forget the brief glimpse of space-pilot's bum that Sigourney Weaver gave us in the last scene of Alien. Major effect with minimum of means.

Katherine Parkinson.   No idea whether she's been in a sci-fi but what the hell, she gets a mention anyway.
