Reading FRs

5 posts in this topic

Been reading and writing FRs on this board for 6 years now and I've found the following help me to get the most out of an FR.

I'd be interested in any other tips people have. I realise most of these will be blindingly obvious to lots of you...

1. Is it the first report ? If so use with caution. Ditto if all reports are on the same establishment and are positive and uncritical !

2. Does the writer do at least a few negative FRs ? Makes the positive ones more valuable.

3. Pay close attention to what is left out of a positive FR. IME if a girl looks fabulous, a punter will happily to say so. If the description is non-commital she's probably less attractive. Similarly I remember reading a (positive) report once which gave the girl's age as "30-something". As the girl's website gave her age as 31 at the time, I would guess the punter thought that a bit optimistic but didn't want to say so outright (this is my view of her age from having seen the girl in question - Ruth in Nottingham in case anyone is interested, the report was years back).

4. Have you seen any of the girls that the writer has reported on ? If so it helps you judge his view of girls you haven't seen.

5. What sort of punting does the writer do ? Someone who punts mainly at parlours will have different expectations from someone who mainly sees more expensive escorts etc.

Obviously I only look in this sort of detail at an FR that I'm going to use as a guide whether or not to see a girl.

I've come across some comments knocking FRs and I'm posting this thread because I find them so useful. Yes, each FR is a personal view of a one-off encounter so care is needed to get the best out of them - and when I do, I find it's a huge help in getting better punts and fewer awful experiences.

I know it's wrong ,but i dont want to write up negative reports, and we have all had bad luck.

i feel that generaly the wg does her best but may not be up to what we are looking for, due to her lack of experience.

one of my sayings is '' make the best out of a bad punt ''

Your choice, and it bugs me when people say FRs should do this or that - it's up to the writer to write the FR as he damn well pleases. I'm just saying that where a writer has purely positive FRs, I'll give his reports less weight when I read them.

And it does help us other punters if you let us know about the girls you see who aren't up to it!

Agree with that completely.

When I first did a FR I got moaned at when I said I got a service that the next guy didnt. So when I started leaving details of exact service out I then got PMs saying "Does she do xxxx?". So now I just write exactly what happens for me the way I want to.

Anyway I dont write a FR on every punt. I only do a FR when I feel theres a very good reason to warrant one and spend my time writing the thing. Ive never had a punt where I feel would deserve a bad FR but theres been quite a few where we just havent clicked or left a bit disappointed.

Ive got a good reason behind each FR I write and not just because I had a good time.

That's the best policy in my view Overworked. You just can't please all of the people all of the time.

If I leave a punt on a real high (sort of an 8/10 or higher score for the quantitative amongst us), then I'll go out of my way to write an FR. If the punt was slightly disappointing through average to "just" good, I'll probably not bother.

I haven't had a truly awful punt yet (a 3/10 or lower score if you will), or been ripped off, or had a bait and switch or been threatened by a pimp. All of these would lead me to write a negative FR and when one happens (as it will at the frequency I punt), I will post one. It actually bugs me that I don't have any negative FR to my name because of the prevailing, totally understandable view that people like you and I are "easy to please" or over-fluffy or simply biased :). In actual fact, in my case anyway, good research and an unwillingness to opt for the unknown quantity is the real cause. Maybe I'll go out and blow £60 on a guaranteed poor punt just to break my duck eh :) ? Any suggestions ?
