playing ipod on older stereo

6 posts in this topic

I have a old ( well 8 year plus) technic midi stack system its really good super loud and have had no probs with it at all.

However i want to be able play my ipod on it and cant find the av line/jack

( i think that what its called so that my ipod will play on it)

ok i could buy a newer stereo but mine is perfect and would have to pay a lot of money to get a comparable stereo so dont really want to

i think cos its old it dose not have the av line or jack or at least i cant find it

any ideas anyone

I dont even think i pods were out when i bought this stereo

If I undersand correctly, your system does not have an AV or AUX input? If that's indeed the case, do you have a tape deck?

Another posibility is through the radio (if it has one). You can buy a fm transmitter which plugs into the headphone socket of the ipod. Then tune in the radio to the frequency of the transmitter.
