Luckily, no.

I don't punt locally now due to a close call a few years ago when a local escort I'd seen the night before approached me and my kids in the supermarket and said hello to me. That took some explaining to my teenage daughter.

:) unreal.

But no, it's never (yet) happened to me. But I'm always very aware it can. It may be a massive industry but it's a small world.....

A girl I know was working in a parlour and came to meet a customer in reception and it was her brother.

It was more complicated than that. She is a very pretty girl and was very popular but unfortunately she had a stalker from the parlour. I believe that it was the taxi-driver who pointed out that she was being followed home. The guy didn't know her real name or where she lived. He became threatening at one stage. The Police actually arrested him. They found certain disturbing items on the front seat of his van... which I believe to be rope and a blindfold. They didn't really want to tell her. But stupidly whilst questioning the guy they mentioned her real surname. On release he traced her and her family - and sent letters to her family, including her aunt. That was why her brother turned up at the parlour to see if it were true.

She complained to the Police and they got her rehoused via a Housing Association. The stalker is a nutter and is still looking for her. She is too scared to work and hardly goes out.

What a shocker :)

"a local escort I'd seen the night before approached me and my kids in the supermarket and said hello to me. That took some explaining to my teenage daughter."

Surely that could have been passed off as anything; she could work for a business you deal with whatever - unless she was wearing working clothes, a fishnet body suit perhaps?

On the subject, I did realise during the course of one punt that the lady had been my son's A level year maths teacher - early retirement and financing buy to lets

... rather depends on the "Hullo", doesn't it? "Hullo, sexy!", "Hullo, darling"?

... and do, please, give an evidence based, considered opinion - was she better at maths (did son pass?) or at sex?

That is ridiculous, it's well out of order for either punter or working girl to do to do that, even if someone is on there own you don't know if someone else is with them and just gone off to do something else.

I remember once I was having a pub lunch with a lady and a family came and sat nearby, she recognised him as someone she'd seen a couple of days before, but obviously didn't show any sign s of reconition. After a couple of minutes the guy noticed us and moved his family to another table, I thought that was strange behaviour and surely must have made them woinder what was wrong?

I can only suppose that this guy's wife was known to be the kind of person to strike up conversation with people at neighbouring tables :)

Has happened to me twice

Went to a punt, girl in her mid twenties - walked in and recognised her as an office junior that had worked under me as a sixteen year old - we both pretended we didnt recognise each other and had a great time. Didnt go back though

Second one the other way around. Girl turns up for interview. Recognise her as a WG from a couple of years back. Dont know if she recognised me. Again pretended I didnt recognise her and got on with the job - interviewing her.

Funnily enough she was the best candidate for the job. Sent her her job offer - she never answered back

Anyway the lesson is discretion is the best way to approach the issue - pretending you dont recognise is the best option all round in my experience.

Thankfully not. Now I don't go to local parlours it's unlikely. I have seen WGs I've been to twice outside the parlour- once in the street (my shoelace suddenly needed doing up again) and once in a gym (managed to avoid each other and then a gym opened up nearer home.

For a month or so I went out with a parlour girl, she wouldn't work in the town she lived in and most of the girls she worked with didn't work in their home towns either. This could mean you're possibly more at risk going to parlours away from home.

I did realise during the course of one punt that the lady had been my son's A level year maths teacher.

Did she ask if you were the father of one of her children?

Yes!! The lady worked in my local pub for a while - she saw the funny side of it though and so did I. It did make us both giggle when she was next working in the pub.

Not quite the same thing, but I've often wondered about the (especially in Manchester) parlours with communal waiting areas : have you ever been waiting and in walks a friend/relation/colleague whom you never knew or expect to be punting ?

Frankly, the thought of that happening, even in a big city that's nowhere near where I live, puts me off visiting these places.

Not quite. I was walking in town with my wife once when we passed a lady I had visited several times. She barely glanced at me and I managed to act as if nothing was wrong. I then thought to myself, of course she didn't recognise me. Why would she? She sees many clients and I don't suppose I'm that memorable anyway. Two weeks later, I called on said lady again. "Hi," she said. "Did you spend much in town the other week? Was that your wife you were with?" with a wicked grin on her face! I knew she was a smart cookie and I thanked her for her professionalism!

God, imagine walking into a parlour and your sister greets you, scantily clad and obviously working. Makes me shudder to think about it.

I have TWICE in my working life come across an Escort I know - and it was the same one! Interesting to say the least!!! All I can say was she was totally professional and colleagues would have had no idea that she knew me, let alone her profession!

I once booked a girl whose face was blurred on the website – in person her face was unblurred … and familiar. I said nothing. She said nothing. As time passed, I began to think I'd imagined it.

Had few near misses myself.

One occasion, the Visiting Girl got a bit tipsy, told me about her day-job, and it was rather close to mine. Managed to avoid her in real-life though.

Another Lady, near-regular, became rather open about her day-job and she had quickly figured out I was in the same industry. She had no idea how close we were (or maybe she did), job-wise. We must have known a lot of the same ppl.

One woman contacted me to sound out if "Escorting was for her" but was a bit careless with her resume. We had at least one acquaintance in common. She understood my hints about security, she wizend up, and we never met. I think she is doing rather well at the moment.

A few more, but hard to describe.

Key point is:

Keep your Identity secure.

Dont talk too much.

And I'd always recommend blurred piccies. Always.

I'd go as far as to use "blurred" as a measure of the girls discretion and quality.

Unblurred pics mean she is possibly careless or has less to loose.
