"The Record can reveal some of the flood of internet sites selling sex with trafficked women which are aimed at Scots punters."

"Authorities believe there are hundreds of women in Scotland who have been trafficked for sexual exploitation. However, there have been no successful prosecutions."

Well maybe the Record could tell the Authorities where all these trafficked women are so they can be a little more successful at finding them!

Haha, I've seen the two Perth based women mentioned in that article. Neither showed any signs of being held captive... In fact they were quite empowered (and obnoxious!).

How about an article based around trying to up the standards of prostitution rather than the usual sex trafficking nonsense!

Why would they want to up the standards Regent? HH wouldn't like that ;)

I have to say, The Daily record has done a good job there, were i going to scotland i would know exactly where to go and who to get in touch with for a punt. None of it actually explains why they can not catch the trafickers and get them in court.

Good to see that the Scottish newspapers have caught up with the information age.

Well maybe the Record could tell the Authorities where all these trafficked women are so they can be a little more successful at finding them!

For the record (sic), I am sure that there are trafficked women in Scotland (and the rest of the UK) and would not like to trivialise the problem in anyway.

However, articles like this really take the biscuit and are simply there to feed the masses something mildly shocking - or perhaps even titillating - over breakfast. As thesquonk points out above, if there really were "floods" of these trafficked women openly available online, surely any semi-competent police force would be able to track a few of them down, help the poor girls and prosecute some of the traffickers.

Instead we get the usual muddled reporting, confusing opinions ("Authorities believe there are hundreds of women in Scotland who have been trafficked for sexual exploitation") with easily obtainable facts ("One of the most notorious online brothels was yesterday offering 534 women or girls across Scotland") wrongly implying that all or most of the 534 escorts for hire on that one site are actually forcibly trafficked.

Lazy, lazy reporting yet again. Surely any investigative reporter worth his or her salt should be able to do so much better.

I desperately want a well researched, unbiased report on this subject. It's serious, deserves respect and I for one would like to help (in whatever small way I can) eradicate the problem of trafficking. This article does nothing to advance the thinking on the subject whatsoever.

Pietra21, search for her!

I've seen her in Perth, she wanted an extra tenner to touch her tits!

Paola22, search for her!

I also saw her in Perth. She sucked the tip of my cock unenthusiastically while she looked fat and rough and even had a bandaged hand! Once again, she moaned about doing anything other than exactly what we discussed beforehand.

Xenia, will you please stop talking utter shite?!

I hate how on this board if you say anything against WGs the usual overly verbal posters are instantly on your back. ;)

The article in the Daily Bumwipe made me want to give the editor and so-called reporters a f**king good *******. Whenever there's a gap in their pages and they haven't done a trafficking story for a bit they fill it up with this sort of lies, assertions, misrepresentations and a few stock photos.

Gives the s**teholes an excuse for perusing @wank and the sauna sites at work!

Maybe they're p***ed off that their local establishment (New Blythswood) has closed down!

Oh and meant to add that the bit about Gumtree at the end shows how crap their "research" is as Gumtree haven't accepted casual sex ads for quite a while now. Wankers!

I'm somewhat surprised by the reaction to this article, particularly from the Scottish based posters who should know better. It's the Daily Record for god's sake. What on earth did you expect ? ;)

Ok, my apologies if you really did see them.

Still: according to аdultwork, this girls are based in Aberdeen, which is quite a long way from Perth, considering the size of Scotland (almost 100 miles).

Are you sure you seen them in Perth, and not in Aberdeen? lol. I just know that newspapers journos sometimes giving an incorrect info purposely, and this is might be one of them.

Then of course: this two girls might have ""trafficked" themselves to Aberdeen from Perth, at the time the article was written, but I doubt it. :D

The AA website reckons it's a two-hour drive from Perth to Aberdeen.

Thats right: Caitlin, considering its about 100 miles between those cities.

I just think its a bit of coincidence, that BOTH of this girls moved from Perth to Aberdeen at the time article was written. Unfortunately its impossible to see on аdultowork profiles, when profile with theirs location were changed. (if it was changed at all)

Newspapers reporters quite often change what they consider irrelevant info (like location or working names of the girls) as long its not affecting the the main core purpose of the message in the article.

Just throwing my 2 pence in.... Perth is quite a nice wee town, obviously, like all towns it has it's dodgy places but compared to Aberdeen which has a big drug problem and has some very undesirable places indeed, it's very clean cut.

The journo's might have just quoted Perth rather than Aberdeen to cause controversy that *Shock Horror* even decent towns have prostitutes. God forbid

They were both working in the same flat FFS!

Have you never heard of 'Touring Escorts'?

I'm sure there's an explanation in the newbie section if you're not sure about the basics of prostitution

No, it's to stir up anti-WG feelings while the Scottish Parliament debates changes to our prostitution laws. The (Glasgow-based) Record is very anti-WGs.

Yes I see you continued digs and suggestions that I'm making up stories.

Why can't you believe that I saw a pair of hookers in Perth a while back who are now currently working in Aberdeen?!
