Bad idea to outlaw parlours and "houses" and independents.

3 posts in this topic

I regularly use H.O.D. Milton Keynes.

If HOD and other such like establishments were to be be closed down and Agencies outlawed, surely the obvious outcome would be a vast increase in street prostitution and even worse, street pimps and violence.

At HOD I feel safe, loved and respected. Every girl I have have ever seen at HOD (and Annabellas of course) has treated with respect and its quite often a toss-up (Forgive the awful pun) as to which of us has enjoyed it most.

I have no reason tp suspect that the girls are nothing but scrupulously comitted to their (and their clients) sexual health, and at no time do I expect to knifed by a pimp and robbed.

Life on the streets will be a far more sobering and undesirable state of affairs and should be discouraged not promoted by getting rid of the the 'acceptable' side of the business.

As far as independents go. Although what they do in their, or our own homes is technically not illegal the whole process of booking an appointment IS under soliciting laws. (See my other post in main section). "You can legally eat the orange, sir, provided of course it is not orange"

Where do we go from here chaps and chapesses.

Firstly thank you for being a patron of House of Divine, your business is most welcome and indeed appreciated.

Secondly, House of Divine has got a lot of mentions on these legalities threads regarding the new law. Perhaps this is due to our participation on the boards but we are one of thousands of Service Provider to which these new laws apply including indies, out-call agencies, low key flats and big parlours working from commercial premises.

The new law states -

On 1 April 2010, it will become an offence to pay for sex with someone who has been forced, threatened, exploited or otherwise coerced or deceived into providing the sexual services by someone else who has engaged in such conduct for gain.

This does not apply to any girl working at House of Divine, Annabellas Escorts or Ego Massage.

Will the police use this law? Yes and they have done so already. However what I truly believe and I say this with 11 years experience as a serving police officer is that they will use it on intelligence led operations. They will not use this law as a 'fishing trip' into random parlours, indies houses or flats. They will use it when they have specific information regarding a girl who falls under the forced, threatened, exploited or otherwise coerced or deceived category.

Any raid is labour intensive and the finances have to be considered against the end result, hence they will not go in on a wing and a prayer. Means against result is now the police equation when considering any reactive policing.

We as a company have done everything to ensure that anyone working for us is doing so by their own free will. They are not claiming benefits, they are liable for their own tax and national insurance, they choose when to work and what services to provide. Not us.

All these checks have been documented and all proofs of ID have been filed for production to the police or any other government agency upon request.

Living off immoral earnings has been an offence for a very long time, we know the risks involved in that but that is our concern. It does not put the liberty of our clients or any of our girls at risk. If anyone does have any specific concerns about House of Divine, Annabellas Escorts or Ego Massage please do not hesitate to PM us or email us - info@houseofdivine.com

Very interesting and useful perspective - thank you :D
