Feminazi hostility towards sex

9 posts in this topic

The people who have been very vocal about making it illegal to pay are extreme feminists who are often described as feminazis. The feminazis argue that paying for sex is a form of oppression, exploitation and violence against women which is why paying for sex should be made illegal. Is it possible that extreme feminists are not just anti paid sex but are anti sex in general and also regard unpaid sex as a form of oppression and violence against women. Could it be the feminazis want to make paying for sex illegal as this discourages sexual relations between men and women. If extreme feminists had their way, they would like to make it completely illegal for men to have sex with women paid or unpaid. The extreme feminist Andrea Dworkin expressed the view that consensual intercourse is the same as rape.

Bang on. But there are also those WAGS who don't like the idea of their husbands going down the road for sex. Reduces their ability to use sex as a lever to manipulate the men. JS and HH perhaps?

A friend of mine is a feminist but she is one of those pro-sex feminist who loves porn, sex, supports prositution and all that so she is really disgusted by the views that radical feminsts have. She done a funny stetch one time that had a radical feminist on it in bed dreaming called "the world we envision" which had these radical feminst having men being paid for sex by women, strip clubs that have male strippers only and the only type of magazines that has anything to do with sex (not porn) have male models on them. She thinks that ones of the things that radical feminsts want (I bet Jacqui Smith has that in mind to have too) so I am glad she doesn't have the views that radical feminsts have at all. At least hopefully radical feminsts are a minority and not the majority of feminists that either loves those things about sex or supports those things about sex. Not to mention as well that they think women are superior to men. The point of view these radical feminists have is that men should be sexually exploited just like they think that men sexually exploits women (based on their bad experiences they think all men are like that). These women have no idea that sexism goes both ways but considering that they have narrow mided views on sex they will refuse to believe that.

This is an interesting question

Personally I think you will find the monotheistic religions (Judaism, Christianity and Islam) are generally against the idea of sex strictly for pleasure - fine for reprduction.

I am not sure I woul attribute anti-sex to the more militnt Feminist but to religion.

Many scholars thinks this is where many of our anti-sex attitude comes from in the West...

As for Feminist who do not date men...I am unaware if they are on a

crusade to convert hetrosexual females to their sexual persuausion.

And you are correct that the more miltant Feminists would be against

'paid sex' as well as many other aspects of present societial culture, which has been shaped, mirrored, and reflected by men generally.

This is why they are so against prostitution, since in their formula, they would

argue, if society was structured differently from the outset, with

men and women equal, then there would be no need

for prostitutes. Just as we no longer have no need for serfs/slaves

in the Western world, but it was a common cultural practice/institution in

the West and globally too...

It would be interesting to hear your own view Gog, just for

a change... What do you think?? B)

Anyhow these are my thoughts

This has been done before (but by all means, explore it again),

and one of mine is always:

Feminists are NOT ALL ANTI (paid) Companionship.

Have a look: http://www.feministissues.com/chart.pdf

Me, I'm in one of the liberal bands, probably with "some morals".

go on, Google it..

Of course - took that as read (should think we all did)

Feminazis are a subset of Feminists are a subset of the Universe of Women

Most true and smart feminists are pro-prostitution, of the empowered independent sort.

The extreme feminist Andrea Dworkin expressed the view that consensual intercourse is the same as rape.

It was Dworkin or one of her radfem buddies who once defined rape as 'any sexual act you later come to regret'. Well that's one way to bump up the rape statistics, though it does little to help those who really have been raped.
