Got to be the Monster Raving Loony Party.

Saw them on TV today and they have 2 fantastic policies:

1. Air conditioners to be fitted on the outside walls of houses to combat global warming, and

2. All socks to be sold in 3's in case you lose one.

I don't think they give a monkeys about prostitution. Far more serious problems for them to tackle in this country.

I have been impressed with the Raving Loonies and am deciding between them and the Greens myself.:D

I still have a button badge that reads 'Don't blame me. I voted Monster Raving Loony', a memento of the by-election in Kensington a couple of decades ago in which Cynthia Payne was also a candidate. I saw Screaming Lord Sutch drum up support for his cause by playing a gig at the Bramley Tavern (Latimer Road). Cynthia Payne graciously showed up on the night. Now that's what being British is all about. Never mind the f*cking BNP or UKIP!

Yes, I too had the pleasure of seeing the Lord playing live. There was a big floor rumbling synth note playing and he rose up out of a coffin dressed as Dracula. 2 explosions followed which set fire to the stage curtains. It was hilarious to see the bouncers running with the fire extinguishers while the Lord completely ignored the fire and got on with the show.

He stayed for ages after the gig chatting to us all. A really down to earth bloke.

I got an email from George McCoy today

An interesting site which may give us a clue who is on our side when we vote next week

http://www.sexlawsandmps.com/

What a load of bollocks!

As is anyone is going to be stupid enough to

a. input their postcode into a George McCoy site

b. Use their vote in the general election purely based on the candidates stance on paid for sex.

Oh, I don't know, if Nicola Sturgeon was standing in my constituency and guaranteeing her constituents OWO for £100 an hour she'd get my vote!

Thanks Debbie for the much-needed level-headed post.

I looked at the link and I wasn't at all impressed by the right-wing fear-mongering to be found there

I cant comment on other area's but in mine his information is grosely out of date, even to which party currently holds the MP's seat, let alone the actual MP.

Smarmiest comment of the week (so far) on Channel 4 News:

Jon Snow: "You're not prepared to do a deal with anyone, are you?"

Damian Green (Conservative): "I want to do a deal with the British people".

Pass the sick bag someone!

It is a question of individual preferences Debbie Darling.

For some folk, a strong and powerfull military is key.

For others, a lower threashold on inheritance tax is what will sway them into voting for a particular party.

For other folk, whether the purchase of a decent blow job or getting one's arse tickled by a midget hermaphrodite in a dress and wearing cloggs is legal or not is a major priority.

I think I know who George McCoy is and I would say anyone taking advice from him on how to vote probably needs help spelling "X".

If any Party's attitude towards punting is the major factor influencing how you vote then you really need to give your head a shake.

Spot on. Labour have ruined the country so we don't want any more of them thank you very much. Sadly the Lib Dems are far more likely to do a deal with Labour than with the Tories. The thought of another year, let alone five, of NuLabour fills me with despair.

The country is in deep do-dos and to vote solely on the issue of paid sex is a tad narrow minded.

All of the main three parties tell us that public services will have to be cut to pay off our massive debt.

At the same time we gave the banks hundreds of billions combined to bail them out. The banks don't even have a time-table to pay us back. The politicians will tell us that the banks need to rebuild etc. Only this year whilst we are still in a recession a bank we own pay there top bossed many millions of pounds in bonuses. That is our money. The three main parties are happy with that!

All 3 parties are trying to get our vote by telling us they'll cut our services the most!

In Scotland we had far greater choice with the greens and socialist who were superb for awhile before the NOTW and the state got involved.

My advice would be to reject the capitalist parties and vote for the smaller parties with a social conscience.

In fact i would encourage people to get involved in politics. People power is what politics should be about.

voting is simple for punters,

you vote for the candidate that is standing against a certain H Harman's party

Even that aspect seems to be a sham, it's basically an anti-Labour site. If anybody wants to vote tactically against Labour it's fine but don't kind yourself this is about pro-paid sex.

The voting history of MPs.
