God is that all that's left now? :D

I've always prefered being an indi but know some prefer saunas/massage parlours + it would be a real shame if that option was no longer available :(

I have to agree with you Princess. When I started punting nearly 30 years ago there were about 20 parlours in Glasgow.

Things have got so bad here in the last few years that I prefer to drive down to Manchester for a punt.

So, are flats the shape of future punting in Glasgow???

Not if the city fathers - the coonsil - have their way about it. They want to clear Glasgow for all working girls and punters. First Blythswood Square & red light area, then the parlours and next the flats.

You're right there Bob, the parlours are all but gone, and they have already started on the flats.

Crack Addict, Good point. Do you remember them all? I had a think and could only remember about 10 or so. Help me out if you know any more.

Aquarius, Park Grove, St Enochs (3rd floor was best!) New Blytheswood, Woodlands?, Tropical Palms, Bubbles on Bath St?, one near the SECC, Venus, one near the mitre bar, Carlton Club, one on Royal Crescent off Sauchiehall St,

Happy days indeed.

Does anyone else remember any others?

Also the Royale, near the Mitchell library. There was a Bubbles in Giffnock too. The one on Royal crescent was called Xanadu. I believe there was one at the very top of Victoria Rd, but wasnever there. Aquarius and PG were definitely the best I'd been to.

Park Road and another one round the corner in Great Western Road, Oasis Bath Street, Highbourgh Crow Road, Caesars Palace before it became Carlton Club, there was one on same road as Tropical Palms in basement that was closed down for filming child porn (many years ago), there were one or two on Holm Street and another one on its corner with West Campbell Street. There was also one on the southside near Victoria Road and, of course, Bubbles in Giffnock.

Was that Oasis 2000?

I don't know if it's the one near SEC you mentioned, but there was Hydepark too (next to where the new Daily Record building now is) - That was my first parlour and subsequently probably my best (certainly for value) punt of all time.

But consistently Aquarius was the best. Xanadu was weird too. Wasn't there for long, charged more than the others (even though it was just filled with girls who moved there from the other parlours) seemingly because the rooms were bigger.

Still happy days indeed, much missed.

Hi All, very good & interesting topic chaps !. I have been punting in Glasgow now for I guess over 15 years or so. It has changed quite a bit in that time I must say. My first ever punt was, 'Oasis on Bath St !, as I can recall there were some absolute stunners that worked in it. My opinion of course, my my I had some Happy Days spent in the place on a Fri aft'n !.

It's a bloody shame, the state of Glasgow now, as far as the Parlours !. I have tryed all of them past & present. Some good, some bad !, 'Aquarias in its day was up there. As well as, 'Park Grove' also. The Parlours that are left, I would presume will not last much longer ???. Then as discussed, the Flats will be next, on the Councils & Strathclyde's Police, 'Who will we target next !!??' list !.

I think Glasgow & other parts of the UK, has went PC mad. All these Councils & what not, bunch of 'Liars & Hypocrites' !. Sorry for the long winding post, just expressing my thoughts. :):):D:)

Thanks for the memories!

Oasis, thats the name. Only went there once top lady. Aquarious was my favourite although St Enochs was crazy when it was on the third floor. A lot of full on horny ladies. One used to always help you out in the shower! She was amazing, she worked in a flat in Battlefield man years later, advertised for over 40s only. Aaahh amazing. I had to lie about being 40!

The Carlton was great a number of years ago, until they let the junkies work there.

I still mourn for the loss of Aquarius. When I found out that these parlours existed it was this one that I found out about and had my first experience with a Scottish lady in her 30's with massive natural breasts. I will never forget the experience, it was the greatest hour of my life. I also had a similarly intense hour with a lass from the Inverness area. Blonde, slim and extermely enthusiastic about sucking my cock. She even spent the last quater of the hour sitting on the bed with me having a ciggy and a chat. I felt complete for about 6 months after that one.

Nothing else ever really measured up to the facilities and the choice that aquarius offered. Tended to stick with the NB after that.

anyone remember the big busty one from Aquarius, brunette I think, curly, big lady, massive natural breasts, early 30's at least she was about 8 years ago.

Very Very first parlour was Lady Godivas on the south side - never looked back from then - took the pressure of so it did £15 for a handjob. Braw ! wish it was as easy now as it was back then.

The HJ's were better than FS - Aquarius up the hill was good - stunners indeed. used to get bareback blows there and the girl would swallow.

Carlton Club was good till they let in the junkies and the fatties.

Tropical Palms and the other one just up from there. One on Great Western, one near to there on Park Road - There were tons of saunas and they were accepted too. The Glasgow Herald even run ads for them and tghey were over in Paisley as well. But now there are hardly any left all gone. A sad sad state of affairs. I dread to think on all the money I spent on these places - all the shags I had with stunners !

Venus closed a few months back, and St Enochs is apparently still open.

This thread's turned into a real blast from the past.

I've had some great punts in Woodlands - very basic facilities with enthusiastic ladies though maybe not the best looking in town.

Aquarius was superb for it facilities - the porn cinema in the basement was a wonderful place to recharge in between sessions. Went there dozens of times and still remember a Scots lass called Donna very fondly - she was gorgeous looking, wonderful breasts and provided a top class service.

Had excellent experiences at St Enoch but less impressed with Carlton Club and Oasis.

Sadly most have been consigned to the history books.

Agree about Donna. I started at 328? Paisley Road West. I think it was called Palm Springs. There were also 3 establishments in Paisley town centre. They kept changing names every few months.

Someone mentioned the one next to the mitre bar, what was that called? Remember having lock-ins in the mitre on a sat night and the girls used to come in when they were finished to let there hair down. They used to mingle and put on little shows, do pole dances etc... it was bloody marvellous. Never away from the place after that:D WTF has happened to Glasgow:confused:
