Spam trojan horse removal

6 posts in this topic

Does anyone know how i can get rid of a trojan on my system. It is sending out spam e-mail without my knowledge.

I have tried running my anti-virus (AVG) as well as spybot and ad-aware but none of them detect anything.

Try this, it is a 30 day evaluation.

Note :-

Trojan Remover is designed for Windows 2000/XP/Vista/Windows 7 - however it is not currently compatible with any 64bit versions of Windows.

What makes you think you have a trojan send junk email if it's not being detected ?

Could this not be a programme that hacked into your email client instead? As opposed to be something on your system?

I doubt that you have a trojan. Sounds like somebody spoofing your email address to sent spam. I regularly receiving spam emails from my own email address xenia@wwwescort.co.uk. (its not really, but its appears that way at the first glance) However when I look on the headers email originated from somewhere for example gj5mnn@blok5tokl.cn

Please have a look on headers of your email and report back. Read this article too, its might explain more.
