Zero Opportunity - when life couldn't be worse.

10 posts in this topic

I have been a bit quiet on this board recently - we moved from Nottingham in December to a sleepy village further south - there is no decent public transport anywhere and I am stuck with the other half 100% of the time - so I have zero opportunity to punt.

Has anyone else had a long stretch of zero opportunity? How did you survive it?

Google "freeporn", and look up "similar" sites to "pornhub.com".

You might even recognise the neighbours on one of the videos.

Better still, start a "wife swapping" evening at the local church hall. Mondays and Tuesdays are normally quiet. I swapped mine for a flymo.

I feel your pain brother.

I simply close my eyes and knock one out to the memories of past favourite punts....

No, I have always lived within the M25, I would never live in a "sleepy village";)

So why did you move to a sleepy village?

I live in London which ensures i have access to WGs. If i ever moved i would ensure the place i moved to had access as well, but i can choose where i live, so although i dont use public transport my teenage son does so i would be making sure it had decent transport before i moved their.

About five years ago I moved out to rustic town along the great West Road. I found such hobbies as hiding in the toilet when the new enlarged mortgage payment was due kept me occupied for a while.

Luckily The M4 goes through to London and all was sweetness and light once payrises defeated the mortgage.

Try disguising your drive as a dark lovers lane and buy yourself some night vision goggles!

Sandford?

Little Stempington ?

There was a period of 5 to 6 months once. Not literally zero opportunity, but I just didn't fancy any of the penguins or sealions around there.

Willpower was what kept me going. That and the rumour that the first transit stop on my way back afterwards, with a reputation for being the end of the earth, had a good-sized and very good brothel. Perhaps that was because people at the end of the earth needed it. Then there was the thought of the second stop, where I knew I could take a holiday. I believed at the time that it was the world capital of punting. Actually I still think so.
