Firstly i hope this is in the right forum...

We have been reading with interest the blogs on here and other sites, We have been thinking about adding a blog to our site and allowing our girls to update it and let you all know what they have been upto. the girls already log onto our twitter and that can make interesting reading!

so the question for you all is...

Do you think a blog on a agency website, written by the girls from that agency is a good idea?

I have absolutely no interest in reading Blogs or Twitter finding them about as interesting as watching paint dry but i appreciate many people are interested in them, so i would say give it a try and see what happens.

Some guys love them and are a great marketing tool, on another site guys used to contact me if I had not blogged about one particular topic in a while. Also it is a really good way to get certain things off your chest. They can make people laugh, cry, empathise, every emotion.

Clients have loved reading some of my funnies, the leg that fell off, the vibrator in Dubai, a blog is a personal thing and you can share some really funny tales. Mine has always had a huge following. I actually have a very funny one that I must jot down. Sometimes just sharing something in a post on the forum is not enough, you just need to jot it down, with no feedback and put it out there in the universe.

P/Link Blogs was a huge success, most forums have them now and so do alot of girls. Everyone uses them in a different way. I follow the meerkat from comparethemarket.com, it makes me chuckle. I do read some of the girls blogs but since the demise of p/link blogs not as much so.

Good ones are interesting and pull the reader in. Worst are those that just say what a crap day.

Overly niche style blogs, those that only talk about who and how they've shagged can be offputting to certain sectors.

I prefer SP's having fairly up-to-date blogs on "the other site" because I personally think the chances of the service provider being genuine are more likely given the effort and personalized touch needed to maintain a decent blog.

Although honestly I have little to no interest in the actual blogs content other than recent pictures of SP and relevant info.

I definitely think it's worth giving it a go. Managing only 3 blog installments and then giving it up as a bad idea, I did find that it did draw in a few clients.

It all depends at the market you are aiming for. Most of my clients read everything on my site and especially my blog and they also read my bog posts going back for months sometimes years. They like to do their research you see, to find if we are a match. Lots of people try to or do steal website content, a quick ad or they may get someone else to write it, but a blog?, if personality is important to your clients, well you cant fake that, well not on a consistent basis anyway.

But I understand that there are other aspects of this industry where the client is not interested at all in the lady's cerebral personality or thoughts. So, Like I say, it depends on your market.

Give the option to your ladies (or gents), it would be an interesting exercise to see how many ladies who blog get more bookings as opposed to those who choose not to.

Wondering how you would score on a cerebral personaility test? Try:

I enjoy reading escort blogs, to me personality is very important in a punt and a well-written blog can contribute considerably to that. I do think, though, that if you're going to do it, it has to be done seriously. A blog with a couple of entries, the last of which was 18 months previously, is likely to put me off. My other pet hate is when the blog appears to be pure touting, i.e.e every entry is just about the bloke the lady saw the other day, the positions they did etc. A lot of ladies do excellent website blogs, and I most enjoy ones like Aorable Amy's, which mix social chit-chat with 'industry talk' but without ever compomising a client's confidentiality or gioing into who-squirted-what-where detail.

Actually I just went into it after I posted my last and the first question was...

What is your gender?

Hello?

Is this an ambush?

Please dont tell me that matters or I will have to send the 'back to cave brigade' to round you up.

It can't hurt.

Let's face it, it is a different form of advertising.

If by reading a blog someone books one of your girls because something she has written appeals to them, then it has worked.

I read several ladies' blogs (Dollymopp, Dollymopp, Laura and Darla if you musty know) for interest, entertainment and education. They are idiosyncratic, special to each of them. Yes, they are advertising vehicles, obviously, but they are much more than that.

A blog produced by an Agency or a Parlour, with each girl/lady allocated a day or week, or, even worse, at each committee meeting a standard agenda item of "blog contribution" would, for me, result in something unreadable.

Definately a good idea. Adding a regularly updated blog page to any web site helps it's ranking/positioning on the search engines. If you publish your site regularly (after adding a new blog etc), Google and other search engines scan it regularly for new content.

If you never or rarely update the content on your site, the search engines won't visit it so often.

Blogs do not improve Google PageRank (score out of 10). Only by adding links will you PR improve.

Of course gender matters - they have to bias the test scores to allow for women's natural traits: illogical, irrational, manipulative, narcissistic, petty, whiney, moany, obsessed with chocolate, shoes & frilly things. And that's just their good traits!

Not if each lady individually writes a blog of their own - it would be the same as reading an indies blog surely?

Blog posts do improve your SEO and pagerank. Google loves new content probably more than backlinks but it is a multi-faceted thing with Google and constantly changing.

Only 7 in your whole life? I am very sorry to hear that and all your previous posts kind of make sense now.
