I remember a few years back visiting Prague and loved the way parlours there were much more relaxed. I particularly liked K5 (if it's still there) with the host, Viktor. It was very much like a normal bar where you could sit and have a drink and chat to the girls without any pressure. Obviously the girls would encourage you to take them to a room but it wasn't rushed and you could sit with the girls socially. I spent a few evenings there and the girls liked to relax in between customers and have a drink with you.
A few years later I found the same in Bratislava although that was billed as a strip club but in talking to the girls, the ones I spoke to were happy to go further if that's what I wanted.
I loved this atmosphere are socialising with stunning girls in sexy lingerie and having the opportunity to enjoy their company further if the connection was there.
Sadly, in the UK it seems that it's either a lap-dancing bar to get the social bar experience but they all seem more pressured to getting you to pay for a dance with no happy ending. A very dull experience and like going to a fancy restaurant, reading through the menu and paying for the food you like the look of but leaving without eating.
Alternatively, the parlour experience seems very transactional. Sure, there are lounge areas but they feel like waiting rooms and the girls rarely come in unless they're meeting their next client.
Does anyone know anywhere in the UK that has managed to get the balance right?
