Scammed by AW girl

Hoping someone can offer some advice here.

Arranged an outcall 31/12/18 with a lady off AW. Not sure if I should name them...? Anyway, they said they were en route, so I made a bank transfer (rookie error, I know). They no-showed with hardly any communication except one BS excuse. When I contacted them to rearrange for the next day (1/1/19), they replied straight away. Arranged to meet them at their place. Again, got a BS excuse that they were delayed. Got a partial address, so I know the road, but not the house number, and now they're not returning my calls or messages. Contacted AW who said they can't do anything. I can't speak to my bank because they're closed with it being a bank holiday.

Any advice? Or have I been robbed of £200 because I was naive and too trusting?

You have my deepest sympathy,you are not the first punter to be scammed,you wont be the last.I dont think there is much you can do about it.It is hard to take when a "Scheming Bitch" has ripped you off.You will probably have to right off your £200,make sure you go to the bank first thing in the morning.

Put it down to experience you learned a valuable lesson.You wont be doing this again,you still have your health,money can be replaced.

So i dont have anything "new" to say,I have warned and put comments on "issues with AW".

Do not pay escorts deposits,you pay the cash when you arrive at her flat or house.

I think you're right - doesn't make it any easier though. Finger's crossed HSBC can do something tomorrow morning. Not sure what, granted.

So, even if it's an outcall and they ask for money upfront for travel costs... always refuse?

No,you never pay an escort a penny upfront.I dont recommend outcalls either,If you are staying at an hotel,What is stopping the escort from walking back out the door with your cash ? You can hardly go off to the hotel staff and tell them "an hookers ripped me off".I think there is too much risk in outcalls.Escorts could go through your private papers then have your "name and address" and blackmail you,its been known for this to happen,and they could steal items off you.

Its also punting suicide to book an escort at your home,IMHO.

Another "Con" with Adultwork if an escort suspects you will leave her negative feedback she will not confirm the booking.

If you leave her negative comments this will not show has a negative rating on her feedbacks.She will then decide to confirm the booking and leave you a negative feedback that fucks up your ratings on your feedbacks.

This lying Rom "Bitch" put on my feedback "that i am a timewaster and ask for freebies"

So i can understand why guys deactivate their accounts,and leave the site.Its a complete waste of time leaving an escort a negative comment or negative feedback.

Guys who love Adultwork forget to mention this.Well stuff Adultwork,i still sometimes see an escort i met on Adultwork but this is not done on the AW booking system i just text her.

Well that 200 is gone lol never do this again id say. Sorry about the loss at least its not all too much money though

Yes, sorry about your experience, did she have any feedback?

Anyway, never pay upfront, only cash at the punt.

I see a regular girl from AW with good feedback & she is excellent, try to find a girl who does the services you require and most of all check the feedback - not the definitive answer but - do as much homework as possible.

Hopefully your bank can help.
