I’ve been away for 5 years and have noticed everywhere has gone. What on earth happened to the industry and where is everyone now? I can’t imagine the industry ever just disappearing, so where is it hiding?

An odd post if you don't give some details.

Do you mean parlours? Certainly fewer than before but the reduction started at least 5 years ago with tightening council attitudes.

Do you mean UK escorts? Certainly an influx of East European escorts. It would be interesting to know if actual numbers of UK escorts is dropping. An AW and parlour/agency website project for someone except there will presumably be no base point to compare with..

I would have said there are still a huge number of escorts available and no surprise there is a vast range of quality and value for money.

Finally, if Chloe Kisses is still here, not all's wrong with the world...

Sounds like you've had a bad dream.

Like lots of other industries, it's gone on line and, IMHO, better than it was in the pre-Internet era.

I think the popularity and visibility of the industry is very much regional.

The North West scene was always very strong with numerous well know Parlours that have subsequently devised. In comparison say West Yorks, the parlour scene has never been that strong with a good spread of girls on AW. This scene has not declined at all.

To this end it is hard to generalise.

Yes I should have mentioned that the internet and mobile phones have transformed punting although over a longer period than 5 years although, thanks to their top shelf location, escort mags were not really shoved in your face to have now noticeably lowered the profile of punting by all but disappearing.

Went online the past month or so. Punternet message board is now back, first viewing it wasn’t. Punterlink is an eyesore, didn’t get as far as looking for the forum. Forum x has gone. Puntingzone & Hut I think it was gone. Loads of the BBW sites gone. Googled looking for other sites beginnng of the year and there didn’t seem to be any forum sites left. Saafe was still there but that was it. Can’t remember the other sites but was drawing big fat blanks.

No, The LBB is still around, but from what I've been told, it isn't as lively as it used to be. The Lancs board which closed a few years ago was prestonpunters - the software was bloody primitive, but the atmosphere was amusing. I miss it greatly.

Yorkshire boards which won't be missed were the laughable Sheffield Scene and the slightly bizarre The Donkey's Work.

Thanks you are right about thewysg but I think I left it when its regional nature meant it was irrelevant to me. As mentioned, I think Oldest Profession was the one I was thinking of that closed. It had very few active posters.

I hope when we leave the EU this will stop or atleast cut down.

I found parlours are the same like how i remembered them in the 90s,but you cant smoke in them now.

When the uk leaves the eu this places punting scene might just go to shit completely.
Also who knows what wacky laws they will put in place when not bound to eu rules in any way
