Scamming and dishonest escort

Scamming and dishonest escort
March 15, 2019 18:58
Hi all,

I met an escort in London a few weeks back via a Reverse Booking in AW. Went really well, had lots of fun and she was a really nice person. Agreed to book her again in a few months, all chatty and friendly on WhatsApp etc.

However... She then contacted me a couple of weeks later giving me a sob story about stuff, how she needed to cover some house costs that cropped up etc, and was asking me if I could pay in advance for the next session. Like an utter tool, I agreed (after getting clarification), and sent the money. She got it, and we booked a session the following week so I paid for a hotel as well.

Checked all was OK on WhatsApp with her, and she was seemingly up for it beforehand. Went silent a couple of days before, so I chase her the morning of the booking, and she finally replies with a screenshot of an appointment at a GUM clinic as her latest test came back positive. She admitted she was in two minds to tell me. This leads me on to panicking, and getting myself down for a test as well (she tells me five days later she has chlamydia. Thankfully, I was clear).

She's now not responsive to messages around booking another date (I also lost money on the hotel), so I'm just feeling like a mug. Wasn't too give her a chance to do the right thing and give me the money back before I name and shame on here and the reverse booking, but pretty sure that won't happen....

Any ideas around what I could do next?

Take the hit and move on, I think.

I have a feeling you will not hear from this escort again, but atleast you were given the all clear on your test.

There are many (not all) escorts who will tell punters sob stories to gain sympathy from us,these type of girls are not satisfied it is expensive to see them.Years ago i knew an escort she told me her house had been broke into and some of her jewellery had been stolen which her nan had gave her,and her nan was dead. She wanted me to give her a grand to help her out,i gave her 500.

The bitch did not have her house broke into and her nan wasn't dead. She just wanted the cash to buy drugs.i had a massive row with her i haven't seen her for just over years.Another escort down that shithole chelsea cloisters was not honest with me,always told me lies and moaned at me for seeing other escorts FFS.

I have met many escorts who are not honest and tell lies.

From what i have been hearing recently quite a few seasoned punters have given up on punting.

Cheers guys. Tried to post this on ukpunting.com as well, but it seemed one of the girls there didn't believe me and I was banned. Very odd.

Anyway, she's not responded to my ultimatum so I've left negative feedback on AW as the reverse booking was still not honoured.

Is there anywhere else I can leave a review to warn others about her? Also slightly concerned she will try and make things difficult....

I know.Would be great if you name this escort on this thread to warn punters to avoid her.

The warning is also not to lend anyone money expecting it back.

So true
Re: Scamming and dishonest escort

Since returning to the forum last week I've noticed several threads about punters being 'taken advantage of' loaning money - and I'm wondering why on Earth they do this?Would they do it with anyone else they met in a service providing situation?Anyone else they do business with?

Then of course family, friends..................well any loan is often unreliable, people even default on banks they've signed agreements with.

I am aware many men want to help Escorts, when I was offered help when I had a problem in my life (not financial), I knew not to take it and the little I did accept which was a shoulder to cry ont just felt wrong (in fact taught those providing it that there really wasn't anything they could do).

Boundaries are important, as is taking responsibility.

And yes even the strong get scammed, earlier this year I've been scammed in my outside life - using a service based on trust. What it has done is given me an appreciation for those people who are genuine and honest. The good 'uns.

PS I'm not saying that the people who are loaned money and don't pay it back as agreed or promised, are not in the wrong but it's also up to the loaner to assess the risks.
Re: Scamming and dishonest escort

There are also threads on punters getting ripped off by escorts who ask for deposits.I did not loan an escort any money i gave 500 because i felt sorry for her,i knew her well (atleast i thought i did) it was over 10 years ago,it peed me off because she spent my cash on drugs.

From my experience of punting 30 years i have met more less than honest escorts, than honest escorts.

I would say Ruth is a safe escort to book,i've seen her excellent review on sunday she has 35 positive reviews,no negatives or neutrals.

Yep, fully agree and I've learnt a hard lesson from it now.

The problem was, I was too 'nice' and wanted to help. Our first meet was great and we seemed to 'click'; I should have followed my gut instinct when she asked for a payment up front!

I also see she is now not showing her feedback - hopefully she loses more than the £550 I gave her because of that.

The best help is often to stand back, then the person can figure it out themselves and without getting into a debt situation.

That's assuming it's a genuine situation winking smiley

(but yes, I get your point)

Funny that, you will find most escorts will hide their feedbacks when they have been left a negative.Although some escorts have no choice but to hide them because some git has either put their first real name or address in the feedback.

Live and learn from this experience, never, ever pay escorts a deposit or any cash up front.

Pay at the punt only, better to be safe, than sorry.

Yeah lol or this will happen. Must suck to pay booking and even hotel and get nothing lol
Can only blame himself though who pays some dodgy girl upfront and books a hotel with no free cancelation

Live and learn indeed

Replies with a screenshot of her appointment at the GUM clinic? Was it dated? Did it refer to chlamydia? Thought not. Basically, any idiot could mock up such a screenshot - likely to put the frighteners on you - and that's that. I mean, all it apparently said was she had an appointment at the GUM clinic. Most WGs have one of those a month and it doesn't mean they're infected with anything. It's just prudent. Bottom line: She's got your money. You're left high and dry. I don't need to tell you you've been conned. It happens to all of us (at least once). Live and learn.

What can you do? Go to the police. Theft is theft and you have a lot of evidence (money transferred, said screenshot, etc.) I realise you're not going to do this (well, almost certainly not) but to put your mind at rest, you're perfectly safe if you do. In my experience the police are sympathetic and understanding and you're nothing more or less than the victim of a robbery. You don't have to worry about discretion. If. however, you don't feel you can do that, please name and shame everywhere possible.

Don't feel bad about yourself Dazza (or anyone else that has been scammed).

I went on a course last week about work-place security and it included a section on scams. The take away from this is that we are ALL vulnerable to scams, no matter how smart we think we are.

There is no absolute way to avoid being scammed but a good tip was to never act on impulse. Many scams work by putting you under time pressure (" I have to have the money now" etc.). Always make the time to think through what you are doing ("I know it's urgent, but I will let you know tomorrow") and often, in the cold light of day, it will become clear that what you are being pressured to do is not a good idea.

Yes its quite common for girls to ask for money and they are normally very unfortunate in many ways. I Never give them money. Make sure you use a burner phone too.
