Let myself go

I used to do a lot of punting in my younger years, but ive got quite a bit older and put on a lot of weight I feel terrible and wouldnt want to put it onto an escort/WG do i jsut give up forever or is it excusable to go as a fat old guy?

That's a shame Billy, not only is your punting being affected by your weight, you are also storing up future health problems which my stop all your sexual activities. Your name suggests you are a trucker, which is not the most healthy way to earn a living, but there is no reason why you should not exercise regularly and improve your diet. Go see your GP and get some professional advice. Try modest exercise, such as walking briskly and build up the distances you walk each day. Park your truck a bit further away from the tea hut, walk there and back and choose carefully from the menu.

I am in my 70th year, exercise regularly and still enjoy punting - so can you!

You could do a membership at a gym in your area,that's if you have the time.You can do exercises lightly and burn it off over a period of time,swimming is good (if you can swim) and walking is very good especially in the summer when its hot.The weight drops off you in sweat.

But go easy at first,any form of exercise is better than nothing.

It is hard at first but you will feel hell of better in the end

I'm 84, go to the gym twice weekly (but don't overdo it), garden, cycle and walk and average one punt every two weeks. Exercise and sex are part of life's essentials.

I have noticed the last few years a lot of older people are going to the gym.

Sometimes a visit can boost your confidence, I see all shapes sizes and ages, have regulars who are the same - from underweight to obese. I'm happy to see all and wouldn't change them for the world. There's no judgment and how someone feels about their body isn't necessarily linked to actual appearance or size. The slimmest client picks at his body just as much, if not more than the most overweight person I see (in fact I'd say worse!). Even buff men often complain they want to be bigger, smaller, leaner, hair free, more hair.

My weight, size, shape has varied quite a lot and had my own struggles, I just want to see the person attitude is the most important thing. After that come in any shape or size, and I am happy.

I hope you can find a way to go forward.

Sadly Ruth not all escorts are like you,some younger escorts are a bit on the cruel side from what i have read,been told by an older punter and a couple of escorts admitted to me they are not keen on over weight & older guys visiting them.

An escort called Fortune on Diva Escorts does not like older guys seeing her,no doubt one of the receptionists will remove those two reviews left by older guys after they have read my comments lol.

One older punter admitted to me he shouted at escorts for refusing to kiss him (that was wrong IMO,a punter can make comments about that in a review).

I sometimes have to check words you use on google (your much better at writing posts than me,never heard of the phrase "buff men" till today.

I have found perfect grammar,spelling is so bloody important to some crass people (not you though),have they never heard of dyslexia.Samsung tablets do not have spell checkers (thats cheating lol).

Strange thread. Lots of good advice about health and fitness but can't see what it has to do with the OP's post. The shape you're in is no more more relevant to punting than it is to shopping in Tesco and I doubt you give a toss whether the checkout girl thinks you're attractive or not.

Be 100% clear: You're going to service provider and paying for a service. If you feel bad about yourself by all means lose weight/get fit etc. but otherwise, as long as you're clean and polite your physical features are totally beside the point. If you want to punt, punt. You're paying for a service. The service doesn't involve the service provider finding you attractive. That's not what she signed up for. It's not what you should be worrying about either.

It's not so much a strange thread,more a sensitive topic.The OP did say he feels terrible.I dont really think you can compare doing a booking with an escort that involves sexual services to being served by a checkout girl in asda,sainsburys whatever.Women sign up to this business to earn a pile of cash.In 5 to 10 minutes they earn what most people do in an hour on minimum wage jobs.Conveyor belt escorts earn more cash in one day that what most people earn in a week,fair play to them.

In escorting it should not matter what a punter looks like,his weight,age or the colour of his skin.

It does not always work like this though.Quite a few escorts on adultwork refuse to see black guys,some younger escorts do not like seeing older punters and others will only kiss punters they think are attractive,so they put "at discretion" on profiles.

One of the first parlours i ever went to was very popular they had about half a dozen sexy girls on everyday,so you can imagine i often saw other punters going in and out of the place,it was not very discreet either on a main road,council closed it down about 20 years ago.

Was this one guy who often visited this parlour he looked like the actor "Michael Berryman" most famous for late 1970s horror classic "The Hills Have Eyes".The girls made jokes about this punter,very crass and cruel.

In end effect the girls can choose who they want to see
If a girl has many restrictions how a punter must be she will lose
Out on much business ofcourse maybe even from guys who she would be willing
To see as they could think she has a bad attitude if requirements list is a mile long

It might be a bit inconsiderate to insist on missionary if you are very overweight.

Otherwise, yet it is excusable to go as a fat old guy.

Some girls have even said they enjoy the sex more with that sort of punter. They say fit young lads make them feel insecure. A lot of attractive women can seem cool as you like on the surface, but inside they have a lot of anxiety.
