t'grim north - parlours

moved back to Yorkshire a year ago.

been to a few parlours 'oop norf

GFE bury, Rubys keighley and la maison, bury

anyone any comments on the parlour scene further north. Ones to avoid, and good uns.

(no complaints so far)

its private zone, ossett

the sign is on the M1 southbound by the off slip for J40

tried to post a link to google street view but it chucked it out

the junction of worksop road and attercliffe road in sheffield seems to be a parlour hub. S9 3TJ

there is GFE. then opposite on worksop rd there is a door with just 774 on it. thats honeypot massage

go to attercliffe rd and turn left.on the left hand side there is fantasia

directly opposite there is hanky panky sex shop, but upstairs there is Athena lounge, but the entrance is round the back

Also on Zion Lane, but again with a big sign on the main road there is Diplomat

Thats 5 parlours within 500 ft of each other

there is Pandoras and Crystals nearby too.

Is this the biggest concentration in the UK?

Thanks, CP but it was info about inside we wanted - we got the stuff you've given here last time.

I suspect such a concentration of parlours is now likely to be unequalled unless others know differently. I don't tent to travel far and wide these days but Birmingham, Soho, Leicester I would say don't have so many so close together now (and perhaps never reached 5 cheek to cheek in fact).

I only went to Sheffield once. It was 9 years ago so hard to remember but I have an idea I had identified a longish road out from the town centre with various places on it and went to one called Cameo.

Of course, since then the rise in the use of rented apartments means there will be fewer parlours needed or allowed.

mccoys has 11 in leicester but i think one of them has gone. but they are all over the city, not withing spitting distace of each other.

there again, Bury has GFE, La maison and Arabesque within 500 yards of each other.

Arabesque would be more than 500 yards away from the 2 which you mention.

However, while GFE and La Maison are on the same block, directly across the road from those two is Bluebelles, and if you were to go back about 5 years ago, you would have had the Bury branch of World Famous Babes on the block next to that. There was also another massage parlour on Wash Lane, about 250 metres away, but for the life of me, I can't remember its bloody name and it has been driving me nuts all morning.

I think Arabesque should not be counted as a legitimate parlour because of its reputation which I can vouch for from one past experience.

I haven't tried checking but I am surprised if Leicester has so many - lots I have known over the years have been disappearing (loved the one above a porn shop and the one next to the big hotel in Granby Street) and I haven't been aware of newer ones setting up shop.

i did google maps 'as the crow flies' distance from la maison to arabesque and its 552 metres. which i approximated to 500 yards. not good maths - s orry

bit further driving or walking as you have to go round 2 sides of a triangle. google maps says half mile

Hi CP, don't know what part of Yorkshire you live in but you could try a trip to Hull which has several parlours.

I do travel from the e mids up the M1 through Leeds a lot so Sheffield is handy! Otherwise, Bury is far nearer.
