Moving toward a cashless society and how will this affect punting.

Not sure if there is any truth in this but read a news article earlier saying that tomorrow (sept 30th), will be the last day we can legally spend £20 and £50 notes?
If this is the case, was just wondering how this will affect payment methods? Are parlours/agencies going to be accepting card or bank transfers? Are many already accepting these methods? How would that appear on a bank statement? Same goes for indies?

I have banking experience to help answer your query.

It will appear on your bank statement: (Customer name). (Sort code). (Account number).

Payment for fucking an escort.

(Amount).

(Date).

No because Escorts have to take a payment directly for legal reasons. Escorts themselves may decide on different methods

It's paper £20 and £50 which are no longer legal tender, plastic notes are absolutely fine. Papernotes can be paid into a bank account, or sent to the Bank of England.

I have reverted to cash. I dont want my bank or anyone else to know what I buy and where. I have found everywhere takes cash so not an issue.
Retailers have stopped being surprised now. they just grab the cash.

It's harder to pay for things in cash than it used to be for sure. You should try being an agency and paying cash into the bank...

Years later she can decide she didn't consent. They will have a record of your payment. The cops will come after you.

There was a Bank of England podcast where a panel talked about CBDCs. One guy was enthusiastic because they could stop you spending money in a "racist" way. If you don't equally use businesses from all ethnicity you can have your money turned off.

That is the degree of control they will have. Feminists groups will be able to see exactly what you are doing. Presumably they will go after you.

I can't believe anyone would actually be doing bank transfers for their punt. I personally do not even use my main mobile number to do the booking. Your bank keeps records of all transactions and maybe you might argue that it's all fine and prostitution is legal in the U.K. Well laws can change or some WG might turn around and decide that she did not consent at the time. Or maybe your wife will find and out and that's the end of the marriage.

Get a pre-pay dabit card, eg. from Post Office (other brands available)

Several girls use amazon-gift certificates...
is that a sensible idea ?
it means: payment up front, and you have to wait/hope weather the girl shows up...
I'd be ok with it for girls I've seen before, but not so sure about new providers..

Gift vouchers are a bad idea unless you give it to them when you meet. But ask yourself why wouldn't they take cash?

Someone tried to scam me with this. When I phoned up to book they asked me to buy a voucher and give them the voucher code by text message to 'show I was genuine'. Of course, if I had done this they would have used the voucher immediately and vanished.

People do pay using bank transfer.

Regards gift cards, they are offered as a trail free or anonymous method for paying deposits - some punters don't want to use their bank accounts. I don't want any more than the deposit amount paid by gift card, I can't pay bills with them nor convert them to cash.

You pay by cash and it's as simple as that. End of.

However I think a couple of posters here are letting their imagination run away with them a bit. "Laws change.... Years after they might say they didn't consent and the cops could be after you...

For fucks sake that's a bit melodramatic isn't it. Has anyone EVER heard of that happening? Or to put it another way what are the chances outside one in a million.

Things are bad enough with poor quality and high prices in the escort industry without people peddling dopey theories that you could end up being charged with rape as well. FFS give it a rest.

I didn't realise we're moving towards a cashless society whenever i go to the atm half the time i am stuck in a queue. I pay many things by direct debit and paypal. In escorting it's cash only. That's how it's always been and how it will stay - For me anyway.
Just embrace and accept the way things are moving forward.

Everyone looks for WG`s online or are you still looking in the personal services adverts in the local paper?
