Assumed no show after less than 7 minutes - usual practice?

I booked a one hour appointment yesterday at 4.30 and arrived at 4.37. I did not phone to say I would be late (heading straight home and punting phone left in the office).

By then I was an assumed no-show and the lady I had booked was with another client. This was irreversible so I guess my booking was cancelled no later than 4.36.

I am highly respectful of the service provided to us, and in over a decade I have an unblemished record of zero no shows. In that time I have arrived a little late on several occasions and by more than 7 minutes but this has never happened before. I was ready to pay for the time I had booked and leave at 5.30 out of courtesy as I usually would if I were late.

What I would like to know is do fellow punters regard the cancellation as normal practice?

The establishment in question is Massage Northampton where I have visited 8 or 9 times over several years and drove for an hour (just over sadly) to get to yesterday.

Yes, it is perfectly normal, and your unblemished record is up shit creek. You say you've only visited 8 or 9 times in recent years so you aren't a known regular. You arrived at 4.37, seven minutes late for a 4.30 appointment, when the standard procedure would be to arrive at 4.17 with your cock hanging out and drooling at the mouth. So in fact you weren't 7 minutes late, you were essentially 20 minutes late. The agency was perfectly entitled to dispense with you as a no show. Escorts, like doctors and dentists, expect absolute punctuality, with the emphasis on arriving early. Being one minute late after the allotted booking time is unacceptable, being seven minutes late is gross negligence. In future you should arrive absolutely no later than 4.13, and wait at the escort's convenience. Like doctors and dentists they are providing a service for which you say you are respectful. Respect at a minimum requires punctuality. Let this be a lesson learned.

Your record is irrelevant, look at it from her point of view.

She is only earning when with a client, does she wait for you and perhaps earn nothing, or if another client is available go with him?

What would you do if it was your business.

You were late end of, your only option is to wait until she is free.

My advice would be is to always send a text if you are going to be late. That way there can be no misunderstandings in future.

I’ve never been late to a booking yet mainly as I am very punctual anyway but also because I want to get the most out of my money. So I always try to be at the venue 15 minutes early, incase of traffic as well. But 7 minutes! That sounds harsh to me. And also what are the chances that in those 7 minutes the parlour have had a walk in who has also selected the same escort you were booked in to see. I would hate to imagine just how many guys enter these parlours on a daily basis but I don’t imagine it’s that many as the one thing I’ve been shocked about since I’ve started punting is that I am yet to bump into any other punters on my way in or out of any establishments.

On that note though if for instance I am one day walking into a parlour and just so happens to another gentleman 10 metres ahead who happens to walk into the building, what is the procedure? Do I just follow in behind him and we both stand together awkwardly waiting for someone to see to us or do I hold back a couple minutes?

And then what happens if you do bump into another punter? Do you both avoid eye contact and both just pretend that didn’t just happen! Or do you strike up friendly a conversation as you’re both enjoy the same dirty hobby so there’s nothing to be ashamed about?
The conversation can consist of, “Alright mate, who you to see?”….. “oh man! I saw her last month. You’re gonna have a right old time with her I tell you! Bloody gorgeous she is!”…..

Not uncommon.
Personally I have never deviated from say nothing, zero eye contact, look the other way and hang back don't follow in.
I suspect quite a few punters would be uncomfortable if you try to engage in discussion.
