Issues with AW

Has anyone had issues with AW recently?

On Friday i was unable to log in as instead a message came up saying my account was temporarily suspended to do with my email address.

I went through a process described that seemed a bit pointless and got access again but an odd thing was that an email reply from an escort appeared 5 times with 1 or 2 seconds between each posting.

The next day the whole happened again, including another 5 identical replies from the same escort.

I am back on and it hasn't happened again but all a bit bizarre and obviously I have got in mind the potential for some form of hacking going on.

Update: Found a potentially helpful answer on another site. Essentially suggests adding the AW address to your contacts, which is contained in the AW help section apparently..

I've not had any problems.

It was your suggestion elsewhere, CP, for adding AW to the email contact list that I followed and that seems to have sorted out my problem. Never had it before so will hope I don't need to change my provider.

Hopefully, that's sorted me out and others can see the same solution(s) if it affects them in future.

Where do you start

I saw one girl she was giving me directions on the phone and asked if i was by a car park shaped like an oval it was a normal shaped car park when i got to her house she said oval shape is the same shape has half moon i told her oval shape is shaped llike a rugby ball.

In my area AW is hopeless but alot better in london where there is more choice no good to me but brilliant for geezers who live down there

In the end i got really fed up with AW and removed my profile

I've been a member of Adultwork (AW) for about three and a half years now, and I agree on these things, as I've had first hand experiences of them. WGs wanting extras for lots of things that are on their enjoys lists are the biggest bone of contention for me personally.
Many/most of the escort girls don't make it clear on their profiles that they charge extra for a great deal of their services. I've found this out to my cost.

My advice would be "Punter Beware!" "Always Inquire" via AW e-mail with the WGs as to what services they will "Actually Do" for the basic rate that they've advertised on their profiles. "Always Ask Them" if they charge any extra for "Any" of their services that they have on their enjoys lists first in an AW e-mail. "Never Phone Them First" if they ask you to call them "Don't!" as they will then have your number. AW e-mails are "Always" the safest way of contacting any WG as a first point of contact.

Also remember, many of these WGs are foreign, so many of them are not very good at communicating (mainly speaking) English. So phoning can often be, not only annoying/frustrating, but also futile in a lot of cases.
Many of the WGs just hang up on you if you start asking them questions regarding their services. You can end up getting accused of being a creep, and get accused of wanting to talk dirty, when all that you will want is clarification.

These are the things that I've personally experienced in approximately three and a half years of being a member of AW. I hope that this helps with any punter who is considering joining AW.

If I were an escort (just need to take an inch or two off the tummy), I would probably err on the defensive side in terms of what range of information I gave, especially if working in the same town as I live.

As for various of the other annoyances listed above, which I completely understand and frustrate me sometimes as well, many can also be seen in the dodgy/undisclosed methods of many businesses.

I was going to say small businesses but that is unfair especially as we have just been told one of the ultra big Japanese car firms has admitted cheating the polution tests similarly to VW.

I personally dont think much or rate AW i have noticed to many girls refuse to see guys without any feedback yet they did not have feedback when they first went on it,very unfair.

Alot of girls also put there rates up when the receive quite a few positive feedbacks this also goes for some agency girls has well i think this is stabbing guys in the back who left those reviews.

On escort i wont name her trebled her rate from 200p/h to 600p/h because she was left about 30 or 40 exellent reviews.

I can understand some escorts atittude when they are constantly pestered over services and some guys ask piss taking questions like

Why do you only have 2 feedbacks when you have been on AW 3 years

Some guys hate the wording "at discretion" well you cant get away from that it says this on all escort profiles

I also think its a waste of time leaving a girl negative feedback on AW because she will only do the same back this would harm the punters credit rating more than hers especially if a guy wants to treat himself to a visit to a well known pornstar these girls are fussy who they see

I agree with much of what you say here NC. The only thing that I would say is that yes most WGs use the "At Discretion" wording, but not all. As stated I've been an AW member for over 3 and a half years now, and viewed many hundreds, if not thousands of WGs profiles, this has helped me to sift out the ones that don't use the "At Discretion" wording, or the ones who use it for genuine reasons.

I can understand the logic of the genuine WGs that use the "At Discretion" wording. They are then able to turn away dirty/unhygienic punters and alike. But alas like many other things in life, it ends up being abused, and used as a ploy for many of the WGs. Many of them use the "At Discretion" wording to suit themselves, so many punters can, and do get refused some services if the WG/s don't take to them for whatever their reason/s.

I have no problems with 'at discretion' wording i never really had problems with it when i saw escorts i was always nice and respectful to them i told the girls at the start of the booking if we kissed and she gave me a good service i would leave her exellent review which i did,i kept my word to them.

I can never understand why some guys have over 100 girls in there hotlist and then constantly pester the girls with sarcastic emails and moan they dont respond back it makes it difficult for other punters who contact them when they are in a bad mood over this.

To get through 100 girls would take a year at 2 girls per week when i know some punters see the same girl on AW on a regular basis and pester girls all the time on AW who they have no intension of seeing.

I think the feedback system is flawed when punters book escorts both the client and escort agree to leave each other positive feedback to bump up the own credit rating.The feedback system can be abused has well.

One punter has admitted to me he did a favour for a regular girl he sees because she was left a negative review they both got there heads together this punter made the request and the girl confirmed it after the time of the booking was supposed to have finished they both left each other positive feedback the booking never took place.

This punter told me the guy who left the negative review was an idiot and he was just putting her on the straight and narrow again it was still dishonest in my opinion.

The AW FB system is far from perfect NC, I think that most seasoned punters will know that. However IMO it's the best out of a bad bunch. The AW FB system certainly has many faults. But if any shrewd punter does their homework they can filter out the dodgy profiles, and go for the ones that are the safest bets. I have done this, it takes up a lot of time granted, but it does pay dividends for the most part in my experience at the end of the day.

I did not have the time to go through girls profiles i have busy days and lots of other things to do which took alot of my time up i did four bookings and i did not think much of AW anyway so i removed myself has a member.

As I've said many times before on another forum NC, no punter can ever be 100% guaranteed to have a great punt. All that any punter can ever do, is to do as much homework as we can to help us to improve our chances of getting a good/great punt.
You know that I do a great deal of AW profile studying NC. I do this in an attempt to get the best punt/s that I can for the money that I pay. Surely this has to be seen as the correct thing for any punter to do if he has the time to do so?

In my opinion AW is a complete waste of time i dont rate it at all

I think booking girls through escort agencies is by far a better way of punting i have seen alot of girls through escort agencies it is a bit more expensive i admit that but the girls on escort agencies are alot sexier than AW i have booked girls on both agencies and AW so i am in a good position to give an opinion on this.

When i spent money to see girls i expected to visit a really sexy girl i always got this booking girls on agencies.

So for me visiting agency girls is a better option i did not mind paying out a bit more money to get what i want

I do understand some punters cant afford to use agency girls and AW is a better option for them.

We all have our own opinions, and experiences NC. You have obviously had better experiences with agencies WGs than you have had with AW Independent WGs. Where as I have had the complete opposite to you. I would say that there is often a better choice of WGs, more to choose from, depending on where abouts in the country you are.
Also my financial situation plays a big part into who to punt with, and where I punt. Where as by the way you are talking, you probably have more of a disposable income than myself.
Again as stated before, I do a lot of shopping around. I spend a great deal of time studying AW profiles in attempt to get the best bang for my buck. (no pun intended) I may have been fortunate as to the WGs from AW that I have seen so far, but I will say this, apart from the odd one or two over the last few years, I have had some very good VFM punts from AW, and touching wood, I have had the good fortune to have seen some very nice independent WG from AW so far.

You are saying, and or seem to be implying that by asking WGs from AW about their services, and asking them if they will do all of their services for their rate/s without charging for extras prior to making a booking with them, that this is somehow pestering them, and making life difficult for other punters NC?
But then you make a statement that is completely contradictory to that, as in the last sentence that you have said here?

Yes I do have lots of escort girls on my hotlist on AW, I have merely put them onto my hotlist, but that doesn't mean that I intend to see "all" of them, it merely gives me more to choose from should I so wish to see any of them. I actually remove a good many where I have either actually changed my mind/opinion, or the WGs have moved too far away, or their profiles have been either removed or partially removed.

Whenever I e-mail a WG from AW, it's only good manners, and polite for the WG/s to reply, or give some kind of response. I can't understand or see why anyone would be ok with being ignored. To me and any moralistically minded person this is just plain rudeness to be completely ignored, especially when they have been asked perfectly polite questions in a perfectly polite way.

As I have said NC, And I will repeat, I have been a member of AW for quite a long time now, so I have got used to how things work, and some of the tricks that some of the WGs try and pull on punters. You call it pestering, I call it being savvy. I don't have money to burn, so I try to spend it as wisely as I possibly can.

I dont know why AW have an e-mail system,WGs hardly ever respond to e-mails they just read them,most of the time when i have sent a WG an e-mail i hardly ever get a responce back,but when i have phoned them they answer the phone right away or they send me a text for my enquiry.Then i have sorted services out if they charge extra's or everything included in the rate,so what is the point of e-mail system.Some WGs i have seen don't even know what is wrote on their profile,they usually say my friend/secretary sorts it out for me.

I don't use my real name on my profile,for discretion purposes.I advise other punters to do the same.

Yes, WG's don't reply to emails. Welcome to reality.

Also take the likes list as a possible indication only. In fact take most of the profile with a decent pinch of salt. Remember they are in sales.

When you do find a girl you like, go back. Unless variety is what is important to you, in that case you will have to take a chance every time.

I'm finding it alarming that a small number of punters are being robbed and assaulted on AW bookings.I was once confronted by a sergie in a parlour when a girl demanded extra money at the end of the booking and i refused to give it to her.I sorted this guy out and i walked out the parlour.

I can only stress that when guys go off on bookings on incalls at a girls flat/house check out the area,see if the building the girl lives at is rundown,gangs lurking around and don't take anything that will identify you.

This Adultwork site is totally useless.It's been ages since i have been on this site,i have just gone on the search page.

I have ticked escort,female,can accommodate (incalls),Region West Midlands,County/Area Birmingham and Nationality Indian - India.I pressed search and absolutely nothing shows up.I have even altered County/Area to Any so any Indian escort should show up for the West Midlands and still no Indian escort profiles show up.

I know for a fact that there are Indian escorts in The West Mids on Adultwork.

So why aint they showing up on the search page ?
